Do you know what the best kind of food is? Free food. And I had a lot of that yesterday. From my free breakfast in the concierge lounge in the morning, to the free pizza they brought in for lunch, on to the a free dinner with the client, and back in that concierge lounge for dessert. I paid for naught yesterday and ate pretty damn well.
Class was straight forward, no issues from that. After class I was supposed to have a conference call with another client but they ended up being late and when they called finally at 6:40, I refused the call. Sorry but if you are supposed to call me at 4:30 and you're two hours late, it's not my problem. The manager of the group I am teaching wanted to chat last night and invited me to dinner. Since he is the one paying for everything, I had to play nice and go. We went to Landry's Seafood which while a bit of a chain, was pretty good. I had a seafood platter that was alright. Not the freshest seafood I have ever had, but acceptable.
After dinner I went back to my room, relaxed, then hit the lounge for cheesecake. I ended up falling asleep around 10.
Today is my last day. I get to head home and deal with moving. Whee.
