Nothing exciting yesterday. Didn't even leave the house. Worked on my doc, had a couple of conference calls about the content of the new docs, and really that's about it. I did do an upgrade on one of my machines to Office 365/Office 2016 for Mac. That took a while to do. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I got the 5 license version which means I could install it on all my machines, but I want to test it for a week on my main one to see how it goes. If everything looks good I might do it on this machine too. It also looks like it leaves Office 2011 behind which is weird. But if that's the case then I can free up a couple of gig next week if it all looks good.
Made pork chops for dinner. B worked on a project for her sisters for Christmas. She made a story book with a poem about sisters. I guess sometimes I don't understand what it's like to have siblings you grew up with and have this bond kind of thing. No offense to my sister, but I didn't grow up with any of my siblings so I just don't get it sometimes. Her sisters are 5 and 10 and I just don't see how they will appreciate this kind of a gift. Maybe I am just cynical. To be honest though, I think it means more to B right now and will mean more to the girls in five years when they are older.
Either way, it's one Christmas gift out of the way. We watched some TV after dinner and relaxed. Not much else going on here.
Today is about the same. We do need to do laundry so I can pack and get ready to leave on Sunday. I haven't decided if I will get car service yet or not. Going to make that decision this morning. I might just because if I don't I will have to take public trans at 5 in the morning. Not too excited about that. I also don't want to ask any of my friends to drive me at that time of the morning. I need to look it up today.
