Christmas is exploding around here. A good portion of the presents came yesterday and I spent my after class time wrapping them up. With what came and what's left, I can confidently say I am 90-95% done with Christmas. Now to just wait the 1051 hours until it's here. Siiiiiiigh.
Got through my class. Was a little touch and go for a while whether I was going to lose my shit on two of the students. They were just struggling to keep up with the material and I was doing my best to stay patient and slow but man oh man they were pushing the limits.
Tell me how my phone drops 37% while doing nothing but sitting on my nightstand all night? Annoying.
Made coconut pepper chicken for dinner. I forget how long that takes to make so we didn't eat until almost 7. I know for some people that's a normal time but not us. So late.
I should hear today about TN. We have everything prepped for it, just need to know where the hell I am going to book travel. It will be 4.5 days of teaching. That will get me my final air miles.
B is going back to MI for Christmas speaking of travel. She was talking to her grandfather about Oak Island (they love that show) and he was asking if she could come back. We looked up flights and found a reasonable one for $300. She has to leave here at 10pm and gets in at 5am, but it's a non-stop so she can just sleep it away. I am not going with her though. Mostly because I already have classes scheduled during the time she wants to go and because I don't want to go. So there.
Not much else going on. I have some side stuff to work on today but that's about it. We need to clean the fish tank today before we head out tomorrow. Tomorrow we are taking a day trip to Bend. Hopefully that will pan out.
