One thing I really dislike about this area is the main road is essentially a one way. You have to make u-turns to get where you need to be. In some areas you have to turn right to turn left. At peak traffic times, this is virtually impossible. People won't let you in to make the turn that you need. It's very frustrating. To combat this, I ended up killing 2 hours at a mall last night. Not fun actually.
My day started off with mostly no problems. My stupid phone didn't know where it was going and tried to take me to the wrong location which was fun. This is why I leave for places early. I ended up driving around for 10 minutes looking at building numbers until I finally figured out where I needed to be.
Managed to get inside and find the room but then I couldn't get into the room because it was just too early. Sat and waited for someone to let me in. Once in, the room was awful. The projector is blurry as hell, the room is a backwards setup and I found myself having to walk back and forth all day long. I am hoping today they can find me an extension cable and I can work from the front of the room. We shall see.
Finished up at 4:30 then headed to aforementioned mall. Walked around, had Italian for dinner. It was okay. I had lamb chops and they were unevenly cooked. One was raw, one was medium, and the other two were medium rare. Ugh.
Got back to the hotel around 7 and relaxed. Went to bed at 10. Another day of the same most likely. I am going to hit a Barnes and Noble tonight nearby that I found. Once again going to kill a couple of hours. Such fun.
