I won't complain about the heat. You know it happened, you know I hate it. Enough said.

I didn't leave the house yesterday except for a short walk to the convenience store next door. That turned out to be eventful in that I ran into my neighbor. I planned on offering him and his fiancee the extra AC unit we had in the garage. I had gone over there on Thursday I think it was and no one answered the door. Nor had I seen them walking their dog for a few days. Okay, so they're out of town. Well as I went out he happened to be coming out. I asked him if they had been gone.

"I was"
"oh, well I knocked and no one answered"
"Yeah XXXX left me and took the dog"

WTF? Turns out she had been demanding he change jobs the minute they got married because he has a screwy schedule like me and she didn't like it. Plus she wanted to be pregnant like the night they got married AND he has a job opportunity for six months in New Zealand where he can make some serious cash and she told him he couldn't take it. When he pushed back she left. These apparently were deal breakers for her. A four year relationship just done. Some juicy gossip there. He was doing okay. He seemed sad but not sad. More pissed off that she would leave like that without any discussion. Can't say as I blame him.

In other news, it took me all day but I have like 5000+ ROMs on the Pi. I had to get the ROMs on one machine, zip them, put them on Google Drive, then download them, unzip them, then move them to the USB from the SD. Needless to say, the one thing the Pi is not is fast on file transfers. It was about 10gb total and it really did take ALL day to finish. Now today I can do the final piece - hooking it to the TV. I have my HDMI switch out which will let me go between the PS4, the Switch, and the PI. Nerd heaven baby.

Went to bed around 11 but was too hot and tossed and turned all night. This is going to suck on Wednesday and Thursday as I have to be up early those two days. No playing around. I have to make sure I go and try and sleep early enough both days.

Today I have some odds and ends to deal with for work and that's about it.
