And so begins a real pain in the ass week. As of Thursday these stupid people still didn't have my access set up correctly. You know the problem with technical people at non-technical places? Especially medical? The bar is pretty fucking low. You don't have to impress other technical people. You just have to impress a bunch of bean counters, doctor type people, etc with your computer skills. Think about that for a second. Think about how impressed your non-computer friends are when you make their computer work again or show them some simple thing. Same principle applies. But then someone like me comes along and I expose that in all honesty, you have no fucking clue what you're doing. You have no knowledge of how security works, you don't understand the applications you're supposed to be managing, etc. Sigh. Let's see what happens at 8am.
Got the car washed yesterday, put gas in, ran to the grocery store for B. She decided to try and make chocolate covered potato chips. They came out looking good. She's on them, but I think they look good. I don't like chips like this in general and that makes me not a good choice to be judging hers unfortunately.
Made steaks for dinner. I hate our little BBQ. Mostly I dislike the patio area it's on. Soon. Soon I will have a backyard of my own. Get away from the ghetto neighbors with their seven cars yesterday parked on the lawn and driveway. Get away from the idiots racing up and down this street with their exhaust systems.
I just want away. I wonder how my sister is. She was supposed to close escrow on Friday. I should email her.
