I don't know what to say this morning. Nothing exciting or interesting happened yesterday. I went outside at one point. That was a mistake. Fucking smoke covered wasteland. Did you know the other day we had the 7th worst air quality *in the world*! Not in the state, not in the us. No, in the world. It's because of the fires. Everything is covered in a layer of smoke, ash, soot. Combine that with heat and you get hell on earth. Neither of us has been able to breathe well for days. But this is the new normal! Hot isn't hot! Her emails! Hey, as long as that twat keeps spouting that, so will I. Oh, don't believe me? He was just saying that same rhetoric at his rally the other day. Has any other president spent as much time having rallies after they were already elected? I would love to see that data. He has to keep reminding people he's the president. Fucking idiot. How about doing your real job? Oh wait, you've never had a job so you don't know what that means. My bad.
Taught my one student. She's okay. We started early and finished early. That's what happens when there is only one person. Took a serious nap after class.
Made fishsticks and tots for dinner because we're adults dammit.
Locked ourselves in the bedroom with the air and played video games. Went to bed around 10.
The heat should be going today. Hopefully the air clears too. We are supposed to have a few days of relief. I can't wait. Just need to make it through today and I get 3 days to myself. Thank the heavens.
