Heard from an old friend yesterday. Someone I haven't talked to in a while mostly because of my absence from any social media. She sent me an email randomly but I haven't heard back after replying. She is a really good person and was a good friend when we were living closer to each other. I hope she responds.
Taught day three of my class. No issues. Was a really good group. I have needed a group like this. Talkative, smart, interested. A perfect set of students in my book. I enjoyed teaching them. Unlike the idiots in SoCal who still can't get my security working right. Dumbasses.
We finally watched Infinity War last night. You have to ask yourself - Thanos, bad guy or just misunderstood genius? Discuss amongst yourselves.
Had chicken teriyaki that B made. Was pretty good. I enjoyed it.
Went to bed around 11. Have to check in for my flight this morning. No upgrades. Sad Panda. I have a 48 minute connection in Dallas tomorrow. Fun times. But at least I get into Jacksonville at a reasonable time. I land around 3:40 and should be at the hotel by 4. Not bad. Decent time to unpack, eat, etc. 5 days, 6 groups of students. It's going to be a long week. Leave here at 2:30 tomorrow.
