God it's good to be back on a real internet connection. Fucking shit fuck piece of crap fuckface hotel. Ugh. And yes, I have been up since 3:30 and drove all the way home from fucking Reno on about 1.5 hours of sleep. No, I can't go to bed yet because I have too much shit to do still. Plus in 12 hours I have yet another show to do in the city.
Yeah. FML.
Whatever.
Yesterday. Got up late for once. Made some work phone calls. Then a bunch of us wandered around downtown Reno and went in all the pawnshops. Difference between Vegas and Reno. Vegas has Theory, Ted Baker, Prada, etc. Reno has Pawn Shops with signs saying "Featured on Pawn Stars". Woo? We all hung out most of the day including time in the midway at Circus Circus. Won B some crap. Around 6 we went and got ready for the show. We were on campus by 7:15 and had everything unloaded by 8. From there it was just a fucking fiasco. At least backstage. For the audience it was great. For me it sucked. I got into it with people mostly due to exhaustion but also because of my work schedule "interfering with my hobby". Really? You want to go there? Because guess what, work will always win so deal with it.
We finished up around midnight and headed back to the hotel. I tried to sleep but I was in so much pain from my foot I couldn't fall asleep. Until 2. And I was up at 3:30. Yay.
Okay, time to put shit away and then maybe I will sleep for a while. Maybe.

This is the longest I have slept in forever. I fell asleep just moments past midnight last night and am now just getting moving. I did wake up at 7 to send an email, 7:40 to see the response of that email, but that was it.
Yesterday was a pretty boring day for the start of it. It took us 7.5 hours almost to the money to go from Vegas to Reno. I swear after being in Vegas for a week, Reno is like the bitch kid brother you have to bring with you but isn't quite keeping up. Or, the special kid who you have to be nice to even though we all know he won't ever make it up the tree. Ya feel me? Either way, we left around 8 and by the time we got settled into our room it was 4.
We were third to arrive and connected with the other two guys who were already here. We needed to pick up a couple of things at Target and one of them went with us. At 6 a bunch of us went down to the buffet. Yay buffet! Afterwards B needed to run back to the room so four of us guys walked around and ended up in the casino. Well, we were being goofy and put a dollar in to a penny machine. Then we did .05 bets and each one of us took a turn pushing the button. B found us a little later getting excited for winning $3!! It was silly but fun. We had more friends enroute so we took a break and met up with them around 10. We all had some drinks and elevensies. By the time B and I got back to the room it was almost midnight and we both went right to bed.
Today I was supposed to work, but that email I sent at 7? That was finding out if I did or did not. The answer would be nope. So I am now free until call time. Yay!

B and I had an incredible day yesterday. We did a little more shopping in the morning, followed by me working in the booth and doing my presentations, followed by a wonderful dinner at Rice in the Luxor, followed by a trip down the strip, with a stop at Hershey's WORLD OF CHOCOLATE inside NY NY, followed by incredible sex. Yep. Good day had here. We have spent way too much money, walked way too many miles, and ate way too much food. But. Yep. Life is pretty damn good right now.
Some details? Fine.
B wanted to pick up a new bra for a dress she needed to wear yesterday which is why we started our day at the mall. While we were there we wandered into the Disney store, Pandora, and the Lego store. We made a purchase at only one of the three. And it wasn't Disney. Or Lego.
When we got back, I headed over to the show, and got settled into the booth. B came with me as she had an appointment at the salon for her hair. We had a 25% off special discount and she wanted to look good. Okay. While I was at the booth the most incredible thing happened to me - a Sr Mgr from Disney stopped by! We started talking and from his bag he pulls out... PINS AND EARS! Yes, I got both. That was pretty damn cool.
When my stuff was done, I met B. We had dinner (which was insanely good) and we were supposed to go to the No Doubt concert (another reason why she was with me at the Mandalay) but her outfit was causing serious problems and we ended up not going. That led to some badge fiasco unfortunately. See, we borrowed the only other female's badge for B to go. Well, since we weren't going, I needed to get her badge back. I had to figure out who could take it from us at her hotel. Managed that, but while that was happening, I got a call from her saying she was in trouble because she tried to use on of the guy's badges and got caught. They confiscated his badge from her and banned her from the show. Wah wah...
Meanwhile we were on our way out to the strip. We parked at NY NY and went to the world of chocolate. We ended up buying some desserts, a 1lb Reeses Peanut Butter Cup, and an ornament for our tree.
Back at the hotel, we got busy. Oh yeah! Unfortunately, afterwards I started feeling a little queasy. All the food and debauchery caught up to me and I had to spend a little time in the bathroom.
But overall? Yeah, good day. In a couple of hours we are off to our next stop in Reno!

I earned my keep at work yesterday that's for sure. My feet are so sore still it's not even funny. Almost 12 hours on them. I got up yesterday around the same time as now, 6:45ish, and got ready. I woke B around 8 so we could go down together to get some breakfast. We came on back up to the room and I took off around 10:30 to head over to the booth. By the time I got to the booth it was about 11 and there I stayed until 6. While in the booth I did two presentations and helped get everything ready for the client dinner. Our booth is so damn small. We were on top of each other all day. I kept off to one side just to stay out of the salespeople's way. When I did my presentations I had to kick them all out so I had enough room for customers. The presentations went okay. My boss did one at 12:30 and unfortunately it was a little light because lunch just started then. The same thing happened at my 2pm because lunch was just finishing and some labs were starting. My 5:30 however went really well and had a good number of people. Right at 6, my coworker and I went over to where the client dinner was happening. This was a bit of a stressfest. We had it at the Linq - aka the glorified ferris wheel. But you have to park away from it and walk about 1/4 mile. Which meant we were hauling butt from the car to where the party was AND we still had to setup name tags, organize seating arrangements, etc all in about 20 minutes. Our blood was racing. But luckily everything went off without a hitch and everyone was happy. A good time was had by all. We did cocktails, followed by dinner, and around 9:45 people were able to go up in the wheel. I chose not to and instead headed back to the hotel. B had been alone for 12 hours by now and that was more important to me. She had a fun day herself - she managed to catch a cab, take it over to the shops, and kept herself busy. I was greeted with a surprise bag from the Disney store. More Tsum Tsums!! YAY! She got us the Alien, Hammy, Mickey, and Minnie. That gives us 20 now. We told each other about our day and crawled into bed around midnight. A busy, stressful day, but also pretty successful and rewarding.
Today is not as bad. I have one presentation at 2, some meetings after, dinner at 5:15 with folks, then No Doubt at 7. Tomorrow we're getting up early and heading to Reno. Woo! What a crazy week.

We shopped the shit out of Vegas yesterday! Plus B got to see some sights, I did some work, twice, and every one was happy.
The day started off going down to breakfast and not being happy because there were way too many idiots and children down there. It was around 9:30 and since it looked like a lot of people were checking out, they weren't being too quick to refill some of the empty stuff either. But mostly it was the annoying people. We drove over to the Luxor where the poster was, took care of that. It will be shipped to our house and arrive some time next week. This is fine as B will be home all next week while I am in Texas. No issue.
Since the Luxor and Mandalay our connected, I figured I would take care of getting my badge. I expected a huge line but amazingly enough they had so many registration booths AND they had an excellent system setup for getting your badge, that it took five minutes. Literally. Scan a QR code, confirm my ID, get handed a backpack, a stack of books, and my badge. Done. We brought all that back to the hotel and headed out to the strip. We were able to take a shuttle from the hotel and the driver was hilarious. Old retired cop from NYC. He had comments that's for sure. Best drive on the strip ever.
We went to Caesar's first and explored the Forum Shops. Had lunch at Carmine's which resulted in a ton of leftovers. Fantastic lunch, but not for 2 people. It's family style and our lunch could have fed six easy. Oy. We stayed in there until about 2:30 and headed back to the hotel. I needed to be ready to go do some booth work. At 4 I got a panicked phone call from one of our folks. She was stuck at the airport and needed someone to attend a mandatory vendor setup information meeting at 4:30. I was planning on being there at 5, and it was already 4:08. At first I was confused why she was at the airport as she had arrived yesterday. But I didn't have time to ask her, I agreed to go to the meeting and rushed over to the Mandalay.
The meeting was bullshit by the way. It was the IBM person in charge of the venue going over wifi, security, etc. Since most of the people in booths are sales or marketing people, it was also about how to use the lead guns and similar. BORING. When the meeting was over I called her and first, explained we weren't staying at the Luxor like everyone else. She didn't realize this. She didn't think it would be a big deal for me to get there since it's a 10 minute walk from one end to the other. I'm like nope, I had to drive. She apologized and said she wouldn't have sent me if she knew that. Whatevs. I needed to know why the hell she was at the airport! Here's the story - the printer fucked up and sent a bunch of our materials to her house in CO instead of to Vegas. Her husband works for Southwest and I guess has enough pull that he was able to put it on a cargo plane inbound for Vegas. The plane unfortunately was delayed so she was stuck waiting. All good.
I then did the rest of my booth stuff, got B, and we went off in search of dinner. Everything was obviously packed and a frustratingly amount of time later, we ended up at In n Out. It's across the street from our hotel and actually really hit the spot. We ate in bed, relaxed, and crashed out around 11.
Today is my big day - in the booth from 12 until 6ish giving multiple presentations followed by dinner at Linq. I have about a 10 hour day ahead of me once it starts. Ready set go.

Oh Vegas, you bitch. My head feels oh so lovely thanks to you. What do you mean it's my fault? Your pretty lights dazzled me! Your shining baubles lured me in! You brought me vodka with giant rave sticks and half naked women! Yeah okay fine, it's my fault. But hey, thanks for a good time.
Our day was long and amazing. I got up with less than three hours of sleep yesterday, packed, and we were on the road at 6:49am. The drive itself wasn't bad to be honest. Pretty boring but not bad. I got really great gas mileage on the car, around 45 mpg for a lot of the trip. B pretty much slept the whole way which was a good thing as we didn't go to bed until well after 1am. Rolled into Vegas at just before 2pm and even managed to stop once for gas but no other stops.
Side note - the lack of stops on the way here AND the lack of not having to go outside last night at all are some of the many reasons why I am glad I finally quit smoking. On a 7 hour car ride I would have easily stopped 2 or 3 times for smoke breaks. More on this later.
Checked in to the hotel and went off to find food and this one particular store I have been wanting to go to. We had INCREDIBLE thai food. It's always hard finding stuff B likes but she gobbled up her Pad See-yu like no tomorrow. I had a thai beef salad that was one of the best I have ever had. After lunch, we found the store I wanted. It's a store specializing in items for the transgender community. I have been looking for a couple of things for my halloween costume and figured they would be my best bet. Little did we know, it was their annual Halloween party last night. We walked into this place only to be surrounded by a room full of people in costumes. Everyone looked great but it was a bad time to shop. I did find a couple of things, but didn't buy anything as they were all busy and I wanted to try stuff. We are going back Tuesday morning when it will be less crowded.
After all that we headed back to the hotel, got back here around 4:30 or 5. We both took a nap, me about an hour, her about 2. We had 9pm dinner reservations with a bunch of people from my work. Headed over to Mandalay Bay around 8:15. On our way in we went past the shops. The first shop as you walk in is a men's clothing store. B saw a sport coat that she said I should try on. I figured the stuff in the store would be well out of my price range but what the heck, why not. While we were in there, I saw another sport coat that was more practical - black, very basic, but with this shimmering rainbow lining. I tried it on and fell in love. So did B which is amazing.
Side note #2 - this is her first time to Vegas. She was like a true tourist looking at the lights and sounds and shops and EVERYTHING. She was slowly getting into it.
Back to this sport coat. Anticipated price? $300 - $600 range. Actual price? $175. Mine. Mine now. Even B agreed because I can wear it for work. I looked good, it was practical with a bit of flair, and I can write it off on my taxes. S-c-o-r-e. From there we happened to hit a memorabilia store. Now she normally doesn't go for anything like this BUT they happened to have a Sorcerer's Stone poster with all 3 signatures on it. Original price? $1100. BUT 50% off sale going on. $550. Ugh. No we didn't buy it. I wish I could have right on the spot, but nope, not ours.... yet.
We finally got to the restaurant and had a great time. It was a mexican place and pitchers of margaritas started happening. There was 10 of us and we had a blast. The strolling mariachi band even stayed at our table for extra songs. Maybe it was the $100 in tips our table slipped them but what the heck. After that 8 of us went up to The Mix - the nightclub on the 64th floor of the Mandalay Bay. Holy shit, that view.
Here's where my boss and I shine. The rest of the group doesn't know how to function in places like that. We got us through the rope, in the reserved section, and right on the wall overlooking the strip. BAMF. This was also B's first time at a real club. She was watching and checking everything out. Next up, bottle service - aka $350 for a bottle of vodka so you can make your own drinks. Yes, we bought bottle service. Fuck it. Our boss was with us and we got him hammered. SO hammered that I found out that our team (all 2.5 of us) made $850k so far this year for the company. Of that wanna know how much I brought in? $450. Yeah. When I heard that my brain started spinning hard. Before the night was over I had negotiated a new laptop for me AND the above mentioned Harry Potter poster for B. Yes, we are going back today and I am buying it for her on my corporate card. BAMF.
To me one of the best parts of last night was not once having to leave to go smoke. I didn't have to leave the table, I didn't kill my throat and I didn't ruin my new jacket with smoke smell. THAT to me is a significant victory.
Today I have to be in the booth at 4:30pm for about an hour for pre-show setup but that's it. I am going to take B on her first trip of the strip. Oh and buy her a poster. So far this trip rocks.

I am one tired ball of tired this morning. I am writing this on about 2 hours and 45 minute sleep. Which wouldn't be an issue if I wasn't about to get in the car and drive for 8 hours. Ugh. On the other hand, Vegas here I come.
Got up yesterday for my final day of teaching. B drove me so she could get the car loaded and pick up our friends who were coming with us. I taught all day until 3:30 and then headed back on the train. B picked me up and we headed off to our special show around 4:30. It took us 2 hours to get to the theater thanks to traffic. The place was incredible. Best theater we have ever performed in with regard to staff, setup, stage, lights, etc.
Overall the show was incredible. It's shows like that which remind me why I do this. Fully packed house with extra chairs setup to accommodate people. Sold out and then some. Luckily the show started early and we managed to get home by 1:30. We unpacked as quickly as possible to get things in the laundry, fed cats, and did as little as we absolutely needed to in order to get into bed.
Today we drive to Vegas and then spend the week there while I work the booth. It's going to be a long week. Sigh.

If I ever have to deal with a day like yesterday again, I want fucking hazard pay. I should not have to be in situations like I was for this company. In the morning on my way from the train station to the client I was verbally assaulted and followed by a raving lunatic homeless person who was shouting racial slurs and profanity at me. I was actually a bit afraid for my safety. But let's fast forward to lunch where the same son of a bitch sees me leaving the building and not only does the same thing, HE FUCKING SPITS ON ME. Yeah, I was spat upon by a crazy homeless person yesterday. How was YOUR day?
Ugh.
Other than that, it was a decent day at the client. Got back to the hotel around 5, picked B up, and we went and grabbed some food. We also ran a couple of errands. Nothing exciting. Got back to the hotel around 7 and packed. We crawled into bed around 9:30 and watched some TV on the laptop until about 11. All in all, a mellow night.
Only drama was between, gee what a surprise, me and my director. We have a special roadshow tonight about 60 miles from where I am right now. She texted me with all this last minute stuff demanding I call her husband, yadda yadda. I texted him asking if he really needed me to call and his response was "no, just make sure there's a chair [in this location] for [this actor] during [this scene]". That's it? Yeah. Okay. Done. Meanwhile in a different chat window she is losing her shit especially when I tell her I don't know if I will be there exactly at the time she wants me to be. I am like "I have a job and when it's done it's done. I will get there when I can". That of course tweaked her out. I really don't want to do this show anyway. Whatever.
Tomorrow I get to drive to Vegas for a week. THAT should be interesting.
Ugh.

Yesterday was a little better for me physically but I am still over this thing 100%. I even had to turn a tabletop fan on me at one point while I was teaching to help cool me off. If I could have spent yesterday in bed I would have been able to beat it, but no. As of right now my biggest problem is my throat. I still have the sore throat and probably will for a while. I am also still a bit achy but nowhere near as a bad as Tuesday.
Class went well. I am down to three from the original four and after lunch was down to two. Yes, I am doing onsite live training for 2 people. It will be back to three today as one of them had to leave a few hours early for a family thing. I don't mind the smaller groups. Especially live. It's more fun this way. We did finish early but due to a medical emergency at one of the stations, my train back was 35 minutes delayed and I ended up at the station at the same time as I would have normally. Yay.
Got back to the room and B and I got ready to go out. Our friends were coming over and we were going to Benihana for dinner. To me that place is to Japanese as Taco Bell is to Mexican but B likes it and I knew there was one here so we go. I did drag our friends along because I wasn't about to suffer this alone. We had one more friend who couldn't make it and the plan was to go over to his house after dinner. They got to our hotel around 5:30 and we hung out until 7 as the reservation was for 7:30. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The food? Meh. But whatever.
After it was about 9 and I decided I wanted to head back to the hotel. Our friends drove and I had them drop me off. B went with them over to our other friend's house. Good thing too as she didn't get back to the room until after 2. I would have been looking at my watch the whole time being a big grump. Smart move on my part not going.
Instead, I caught up on email and was in bed by 10:45. I tossed and turned a little still from my illness but finally fell asleep.
Two more days to go then Vegas.

I'm sick. Flu. But I am fighting it. Right now my left ear is blocked and my throat are killing me, but that is better than I was last night. Here's the day:
Got up around this time, did my normal morning stuff. Woke B up at 6:20 and she dropped me off at the train station at about 6:50. Got into the city around 7:15 and was at the client by 7:30. At this point I was still feeling okay. Not great, but okay. My ears and throat were just starting to bug me. We got through class but as the afternoon wore on, I could feel myself getting weaker and achy. By the time we finished and I walked back to the train, I was dying. I was starting to sweat, it was painful to move, etc. I finally got on the train and hit the station around 4:40.
We went and got Panera for dinner so I could have soup. Too bad they gave me less than a can of Campbell's worth. Yet still felt they could charge me $5.49. Um, piss off. Finally got back to the hotel and it was a struggle to eat. I managed to get food in me and then got into bed around 5:30. I spent the next 4 hours in and out of sleep, sweating, freezing, sweating, etc. At one point you could have wring my clothes and had a glass of sweat. It was gross. The fever broke around 9:15 and I felt a little better. B and I decided to watch Blacklist, after which I promptly fell right back to sleep.
I tossed and turned but overall had a decent night after that. What I am worried about is I am going to do it again by straining myself today. In a perfect world, I would sit in bed all day today too. But no. I have to do it all over again. Sigh.

Slept much better last night. Pretty solid sleep too. Woke up a couple of times, but not a real problem.
Got up way too early yesterday and left way too early. I got to the train station and ended up on a really early train and was at the client at 6:30 which really sucked since my contact wasn't getting in until 7:30. Luckily their guest WiFi didn't restrict sites so I was able to sit there and scroll Tumblr. Class itself was a bit of a pain. I have four students but none of them have the right background for the material. They have been thrust into this role because one of the other groups is 'too busy' to support them any more. We spent the majority of yesterday discussing concepts and theory more than the actual tool they were there to learn. On one hand that's not a problem as it makes them better developers in the end. They know WHY they are doing things rather than blindly doing them; but it also put us way behind. Catch-22. For lunch I walked across the street to a grocery store and got a decent ceviche for $3.
We finished up the day around 4, took the train back, and headed back to the hotel. While I was doing all this, B was getting the kittens all set for their new home. The person who was taking them picked her and the kittens up around 11, drove her to the hotel, where she checked in. She took a nap while waiting for me.
When I got there, we had dinner at the hotel and then decided to go to a mall nearby. Very fortuitous we did. I found a new travel bag that is PERFECT. While I like the Disney one I bought last year, it isn't quite what I have been wanting. It doesn't have just the right pockets or space. Also the wheels are insanely loud. I found a Samsonite bag which is exactly what I have been looking for on sale from $320 to $119 with an additional 15% off at the register. Um, score? I am very happy with it so far when I transferred stuff into it. I think it will make me very happy.
Got back to the hotel and relaxed. We looked up shoes for the wedding, and just sat in bed talking. I fell asleep around 11. I don't know what time she fell asleep. Off in about an hour. Let's hope class goes better today.

I slept like shit last night. Tossing and turning. Woke up hot. Woke up cold. Just a bad night. Luckily I am currently at the hotel alone. B didn't come with me yesterday because of the kittens. Friday night at the show we were talking to one of our friends and we mentioned the kittens. Him and his girlfriend just happen to be looking for a pair of kittens. Match made in heaven. But they live almost equi-distance from the theater as we do just the opposite direction. Which means for them to come to us would be a bear. after much discussion yesterday, we decided the best thing was for them to come to our place today, get the kittens, then drop B off at the hotel as it is on their way back home. Hence, my being here alone.
We got up around 9 and cleaned and packed because originally we thought she was coming with us. It wasn't until about 1 that we had all of the above sorted out. From 9-11 we both cleaned the house crazy clean as since we will be gone for so many days we want to come home to a perfect place. Once we had the kitten situation resolved, we both relaxed for a while. I left around 3, got to hotel around 4, and settled in. It was about 4:30 when I started ironing for the week. An hour later and I was done. This is a full week - 5 shirts needed ironing. Ugh.
After ironing I took a ride. I went to the public trans station and bought my ticket for the week which will save me time this morning. I am leaving here pretty early as I have to be in the city by 7:30 and I don't know how long it's going to take me to do things. Tomorrow I can leave 30 minutes later but today is first day setup, etc so I have to be there. I will still have to stop at the parking machine, but at least my ticket is done. Grabbed L&L Hawaiian on the way back and loco moco for dinner. Went up to the executive lounge around 7 for my free evening cookie, then came back to the room and watched Scrubs until about 10. End of day.
Okay, need to get moving so I can figure out timing.

I am so glad we decided not to do the show last night. Looking at social media this morning and most folks got home somewhere between 5 and 6 (or spent the night) which means had we gone we would have been closer to that 6am end of things and I would have lost this entire day. No thank you. Instead I had a wonderful night at home with B. We had a pretty good day too. Went to taco bell for lunch, came on back home, relaxed, watched some TV together (we watched like 5 hours of Blacklist. This week I managed to get B hooked on it and she wanted me to wait on starting season 2 until she was caught up. She managed to get caught up in one week and so we watched all four new episodes of Season 2 yesterday), and just had a nice day. I played some Diablo and she watched HPDHP1.
Today we have nothing going on until about 4 when we check in to the hotel.

Yes, I just woke up at 10:30am. Didn't get into bed until 4:30 so I am still only running on about 6 hours of sleep. It was a super long day that's for sure. Got up normal time and taught until about 2:30. One nice thing that happened during class was I managed to get a hold of my client in Reno. When I go up there in two weeks for our Reno show, it is now a billable gig for me and I was able to put the hotel on my corporate card AND will not lose any PTO time. I don't have anything to do that night until about 7 or 8, so this way I can work from 8-3 or so and still have some time for fun and the show.
After class we went and some errands. I wanted to stop at the smoke shop and pick up some cleaning supplies for my vaporizer. I am proud to say it has been three weeks since I have had a regular cigarette. I also have managed to switch down a nicotine level on my juice. One step closer to the final goal.
After the smoke shop we hit Target for some basics we needed and some snacks for this trip. We grabbed some food on the way home and that was about it. We watched some TV, had dinner, and didn't do much of anything until it was showtime.
We got to the theater around 10 as I was one of the people scheduled to be interviewed for the documentary. That went pretty well. The crew filmed our entire performance and while they were in my way all night, I am proud to be part of something like this which will be released next September. Yes, a year. They are filming through this year, post processing, then releasing.
I think the added incentive of them being there really stepped up our game. Everyone was in a decent mood, everyone pulled their weight, and all in all we had a good time. It was rough driving home, but we made it.
Now today we need to do laundry and prep for being on the road all next week. Ready set go...

To my friend: Sometimes one must do what one must do. There is no 'evil' or 'wrong'. Sometimes it's just nice to have options even if you don't ever choose them. And sometimes, just sometimes, you have to say what the fuck. Every now and then saying what the fuck brings freedom. Freedom brings opportunity, opportunity makes your future.
Yeah, I went there. Deal with it.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled insanity. Today's insanity brought to you by Blammo!
I don't know man. I am tired, okay?
Boy did I just have to poop. Seriously. Wow.
Okay. Yesterday. Taught until 2:30, took a nap from 3-4:30, made chicken taco salads for dinner, watched some TV, played Sims, went to bed. There you go.
Highlights? B talked to her grandmother. Who I should say is like most bullies; the minute she stood up to her she crumbled. This is why I was so adamant about her pushing back. I knew the minute she did it would work out. It now appears we are back on and the catering is handled. Funny how things work out sometimes, eh?
I have B watching the Blacklist. I am wanting to start season 2, but she wanted to get caught up first. Since we have that special Friday night show tonight she intentionally stayed up late so she could sleep in. When I went to bed she was on episode 11, let's see how far she got today. Might be done for all I know. We have to run some errands today after work as we are going to be gone for so long starting Sunday. Just thinking out loud now.
It was for the most part a very uninteresting day. Good.

Frustration reared its ugly head once again yesterday. I am pleased with myself for really getting to the heart of the issue and realizing I am not depressed or angry but frustrated. It sums up so nicely and applies perfectly to yesterday's situation.
Taught all day until 2. We finished up about an hour early. That class needs some more demos added to it. While I am in Vegas I am going to work with my boss to discuss which classes need some more filler material in order to avoid these early finish times. If it's one or two people in a class it's okay to finish early. If it's 10, then I should be finishing no more than 15 minutes early at best. Regardless, finished up and decided to take a brief nap.
I woke up to B on the phone crying. She has given herself a stress rash over how her grandmother has been behaving regarding the catering money. Ever since B decided we are not going to invite people she doesn't give a shit about her grandmother has been silent on paying. Well it came to a bit of a head yesterday when B posted something on Facebook about eloping and her grandmother snidely commented on it. Waking up to her crying pissed me off. She wanted me to hug her and tell her it would be okay and I refused. I told her she needed to stop getting stressed out about imagined slights and conversations from her head. She needed to pick up the phone call her grandmother and end this once and for all. Find out if the bitch was paying or not. Plain and simple. Well of course B was pissed at me for not 'being supportive' of her. And I said, no I am not. I won't be supportive of you sitting here crying when you have the power to take charge of this situation. I went off in the other room and I could hear the front door open and close. 20 minutes later she came back to tell me she made the phone call, they have a plan to discuss it today in more detail, and that her grandmother is upset because she already told these people they were invited to which B said well that's your fault for jumping the gun, now isn't it? I was extremely impressed and proud of her doing that. THAT is what I wanted her to do instead of sitting there crying. She was still pissed at how I handled it, but she understood. The problem is that while I had time to sit by myself, I got frustrated. Frustrated at the fact that I couldn't just tell her "here, here's $3500 for catering. you don't need to feel beholden to that woman". I should have been able to do that. Therein lies my frustration. I shouldn't be stressed out about taking care of this wedding. But I am.
I ended up going out to the other room to make dinner (pork chops) but then went right back into the office. I stayed in there until I could calmly explain all this to her. Which I did around 10. We stayed up talking and watching TV until about midnight. So yes, once again I am running on less than 5 hours sleep. Yay me.
Two day class starts today. 9 students. Oh joy.

My sister sent me an email yesterday asking what was really eating at me and to make sure I didn't slip back into depression. No, this isn't depression I came to the conclusion last night. I have been able to manage my manic/depressant episodes much better in the last year - due in a large part to B - and this is different. It's frustration. Frustration that I am not where I was "supposed" to be. Frustration that I worked so hard and lost so much. Frustration at starting over and feeling too old to do it yet again. And it's not just me. I think it's a generational thing. Look at us. People who are 40-50 right now. We are a pretty fucked up generation. We were the first to have so much instant gratification we have fucked up so much as adults. Look at the foreclosures, short sales, and house issues. A large portion is right smack in that age range. I know of at least 6 people personally who have dealt with this in the last 5 years. Hell, most of us are on our second or third marriages. We aren't necessarily a generation of fuck-ups or under achievers, we just don't know how to deal with long term things. Everything we grew up with was instant. ATMs. CDs. 22 minutes of issues solved with a big hearty laugh at the end. The internet. Online ordering. We don't know how to manage or budget long term. Then they scared us to death telling us AIDS, Russians, Nuclear War - whatever - were going to kill us so live for now. Forget tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes. Die young. Too bad most of us didn't. Those of us that do eventually find some way of coping or handling things do so because we end up with partners NOT of the same age. Be it older or younger we know that people are own age are so fucked up we need to go up or down a generation to help balance things out. But that of course is ripe with it's own issues and dramas now isn't it? These are the things I ponder when I can't sleep. These are the thoughts running through my head at 2 in the morning. Where do I fit? What have I done? Why am I still going? All of these thoughts. Depression? Not really. Annoyance. Frustration. Better words.
Taught all day yesterday and it was a full class that went all day. A little over actually. I forget when I have big classes that these things are meant for this size and will take all day. I get spoiled when it's a small class and I finish 2 hours early. Nope not happening this week. After class I had so many emails that came through I spent another two hours working. 5-5 was my day yesterday. Today promises to be more of the same as it's the advanced version of yesterday and half the class are people from yesterday. Not all but half plus 4 or 5 new people.
I did get some cool mail yesterday. See above about being unable to manage our money. Anyway, my Tsum Tsums from Japan arrived. I now have Perry and Oswald. As well as my D23 membership packet. I am now an official D23 member. I can go to the show next year and can buy D23 exclusive merchandise in the park.
I didn't feel like cooking after class so we went out for Italian. I was so tired that when we got to the restaurant and then again when we got home, I clipped the curb in my car. Fucked my rims up on both the passenger and the driver side as I hit one at the restaurant and the other when we got back home. WTF.
Tried playing Sims but it decided it just wanted to lock up on me. So fuck it. Got tired of that after a while. Watched some TV with B and went to bed at 11. She came in some time after 1.
We also realized that starting Sunday we will be gone for 12 days straight. Need to do a bunch of laundry and make sure everything is situated before that comes around. Time to go teach the masses.

I had trouble falling asleep last night because I started getting depressed about life and the future and what the hell I am doing. I want to be able to make more money to be able to pay things off and give B a good future but then I realize how old I am and who the hell wants to hire an old guy like me and that I need to be really careful not to lose my job because then I will be screwed and it didn't help that B wasn't tired and I went to bed alone at 11 and tossed and turned until she came in at 2 and then I got up at 5. Sigh.
See?
Just one brain fuck after another is what it was last night.
The day itself wasn't bad. Got up, did some work stuff. Prepped for today. I have a REALLY large group in each of my classes this week. Two one day classes and one two day with no less than 10 students each day. This is going to make for a challenge. I prepped out all my slides, my screens, etc. I should be ready to go but there's always the fear I am missing something. I will be dealing with about 50 people in total the rest of the week. I can handle it.
Played some Sims. Organized files. Caught up on BBT with B. Made fish tacos for dinner. She caught up on PLL finally.
That was about it. We left the house once to get something at the grocery store. Oh yeah, pie. I totally had forgotten what it was. She was craving pumpkin pie so we went to the store. That was our big trip out. Whee.
God I am just not all here right now. I am just flustered with life. I definitely don't want to do a show this Friday even though it's a big documentary special. Check out their kickstarter page - Rocky Horror Saved My Life. I think it's a cool thing, just not up to it. Then on Sunday we have to travel so it will be rough.
So much to do so little time left to do it.

We both had a bad night last night. Migraine for B, which led to tossing and turning. Neither of us got a good's night sleep. She is still asleep which given she was up until 2. I know this because I can check her late night twitter ramblings. Last one posted roughly six hours ago. Hence 2am. Here's how the rest of the day went:
Got up around 9. We were supposed to go with friends to a 'Harvest Festival' about 20 minutes away. They didn't give me a whole lot of details so I looked it up on the internet. Yep, there it is. Okay, no biggie. They called us at one point and said we are nearly ready. Great. We will drive out there now and meet you there. Got in the car, drive out there, took 40 minutes since most of it is a one land road with fucking trucks on it. Get to the downtown where the internet said it was happening when I notice the DATES on the webpage - JULY 12. Um...
I called our friends who still hadn't left the house yet a little peeved. Turns out, yes there was a city harvest festival but we are going to the one at so and so farm. Oh. Thanks for that small crucial detail. Luckily it was only a couple of miles from where we were. We get there and yep, it's a fall thing. $10 admission which included hay ride to the pumpkin field and any pumpkin you could carry. We did all the things - picked our own herbs, picked two baskets of cherry tomatoes, listened to the music, rode the tractor hay ride, picked our own pumpkins, etc. I was cranky the whole time because right before we left I reset my phone and was still trying to get it back to working order. Plus it was hot, dusty, and outdoors. None of my favorite things. We got home around 4 and that's when her head starting hurting. She watched some TV while I played sims and around 7:30 she took a Vicodin and crashed until 11. That's when I tried to go to bed. I was hot and sticky and don't like our new sheets and I ended up tossing and turning.
I must have woke her up around midnight which is when she got up.
Ugh. Luckily I don't teach today. I teach non-stop starting tomorrow for the next two weeks, one of them at UCSF, then Vegas, then Texas, then Disneyland, then Texas. I am going to enjoy this last day of peace.

I hate people. Especially 'family' who think that because they are doing you a favor they can blackmail you. Oh but they would never call it blackmail, no it's just 'being nice' or 'doing me a small favor'. Either way, it's fucking blackmail and people are assholes.
What am I rambling on about? B's grandmother. So a while back they agreed to help us pay for the catering for the wedding. It was shortly after that this bitch 'nicely' suggested B invite certain people to the wedding. Originally this wasn't an issue but then the guest list got larger with people we actually care about and those people got dropped. Well her grandmother still hasn't paid for anything and when B sent an email yesterday she got back "oh yes we've been so busy. I heard you're not inviting so and so?". Basically saying put them back on the list or there is no money. B responded with "gosh, I am not close to them and we wanted to make sure we didn't invite 2nd cousins from one side but not the other blah blah blah"; essentially saying these people are there for you, not us, so piss off. And now we are waiting for a response. This of course has tweaked B to high hell because she hates confrontation. As a result she was up tossing and turning until 3 in the fucking morning.
On top of that drama, my phone is fucking up and I will probably need to factory reset it today which I am not looking forward to doing. In an attempt to figure out what was killing my battery so hard, I rooted it and started deleting things. It looks like I went too far. It won't get email now and any Google services are failing because of GooglePlayServices. So I have to bloop my phone. Fun.
In other news, I did have a marathon Sims day which was fun. Now that I have it actually working, I do like Sims 4. I like the new aspirations tree, the new skills, and the new careers. I made it to level 3 of Tech Guru yesterday.
We went to a 'halloween party' last night. B's minion costume was spot on. She looked great. I wore regular clothes. Yeah, wasn't feeling it. We got home from that around 10:30.
Today we are supposed to go to some "Fall Festival" about 20 miles from here. Whee.

Hi ho hi ho, it's billing I go. Sigh. Another Friday another round of bills paid. At least I have been sleeping in this week and catching up on much needed sleep. Got up yesterday, did some minor work stuff, paid all the bills, then B and I went on an adventure. There is no decent mall where we live and she has been in need of some eyebrow help. Therefore we drove 25 miles to the nearest 'big' mall. And by big I mean stores we actually shop at like Sephora, Disney Store, Apple, etc. We had lunch at BJs, got her a new purse, got her eyebrow situation handled, bought 8 new Tsum Tsums for our collection, walked around, and got back home around 4. I napped for about an hour and then we went off to the Spirit store for her to find a costume for a party we are going to tonight. She is going as a minion. She found suspenders, the glasses, tights, and a yellow T-shirt. While we were out we stopped at a little family diner for dinner. Not bad. We both had breakfast for dinner which is always fun. When we got home she tried on her costume and it's pretty damn awesome. She did a really good job. I then decided to see if I could figure out why Sims 4 wasn't running on my VM. I managed to figure out what was causing the problem and had a 3 hour Sims marathon. Whee. She also played and we ended up going to bed around 1.
Today is the party and I am going to be making a sweet potato casserole. Other than that, we have no plans. Go us.

Got quite a bit accomplished yesterday. Had an early morning conference call with a client to show them how to implement security. Almost missed it because I didn't get up until 7:30 and it started at 8:30. But I managed to shower and be ready. That took me until 10. After that B and I took a quick ru to the store for some small items. Finished off a presentation for Vegas which went over well with folks when I got back. Ran some more errands. Played some video games. Made soup and grilled cheese for dinner. Made some cereal treats for a party we're going to tomorrow. By cereal treats I mean B bought BooBerry and FrankenBerry cereal a while back, decided she didn't like them and well they needed to be used somehow. Not a very exciting day but it was okay. The closet is fixed. And I have put stuff back in there and so far so good. I need to put the rest of it away today. My boss is out of town today and Monday and he basically gave me a green light to fuck around but be around if that make sense.
Well. Time to pay bills.

This week so far has just been interesting. First the closet issue, then yesterday I had a drive crash on me. I lost two VMs I use for work as well as a couple hundred pictures. The VMs I can deal with but the pictures bug me. I managed to get the majority of things transferred off the drive yesterday but I ended up baby sitting a drive all day.
I did do some work in between all that including some presentations for Vegas. I also learned that while in Vegas this year, I don't actually have to 'work' the booth. I am basically eye candy to answer random questions. I will give a 15-20 minute presentation each of the 3 days, then sit there all day just talking. Gee, I can handle that. I am looking forward to this Vegas trip now because after going over the agenda, I am going to have a lot of paid downtime.
Made a chicken casserole for dinner. Very unexciting day watching files move from one location to another. Whee.

Boy what a day. I woke up and right around 9 I went to look in the office closet for the cat carrier. The closet door wouldn't open. Odd. I managed to push it a little and saw that the closet organizer system had fallen off the wall taking everything with it. Yep. The entire closet, clothes, records, other stuff stacked on the shelf - all now on the floor and blocking the door. And the worst part was I couldn't get the door open far enough to get anything out. I ended up having to rip the door off the hinges. I went to the office to tell them and they said maintenance would be there between 1 and 3. Sigh. Okay. We took the cat to the vet who it turns out on the surface is fine - just old. But he wants to run blood and urine work but I told him it would have to wait after they showed me the price. $300 for everything. Sorry cat, you will wait until payday. Got back from the vet and tried to organize the closet mess. I got rid of some clothes, used space bags on some others, and made it walkable in the office. Maintenance arrived at 2:58, okay technically before 3. The guy spent about 30 minutes and said "there! you can stand on that!". Okay. I put everything back but about 1/2 the weight of before. I skillfully rearranged things to minimize the weight. 20 minutes later? Crash boom baby. He basically missed all the studs with the new screws. Angrily I called back to the office. The main maintenance came by and he agreed, he missed all the studs. He is coming this morning to try and fix it again. We will see if he does any better. I made a pork loin for dinner. We watched some tv, relaxed, had the sex, then after neither of us was sleepy and we wanted to stay up for the eclipse so we headed to Jack in the Box for a late night post sex munchie box. This was around 11. We made it until 1 before both of us passed out. Sorry eclipse.
Today I am back to work. I have some presentations to get ready for our upcoming show in Vegas. Whee.

Got sad yesterday afternoon. I blame it on the dream I had, I took a nap and had a really bad but all too realistic. I was cooking in the kitchen and there was poop on the floor. I started getting really pissed off about everything I do with no thanks from any one and how many times had I thrown a party like this with no one appreciating how much effort I put it. Gee, subconscious have a few things to say? Anyway it just bugged me and left me in a sour mood all night. Not a bad mood per se, just kind of sad and mopey.
I only left the house once yesterday and that was to get B taco bell and make an appointment finally for the cat. She is going in at 11am today for a checkup. Otherwise I organized another 600 files, played some Diablo, watched the Doctor, and relaxed. I did answer a couple of work emails but they were in relation to things I will be doing the rest of the week so okay.
That was day off number one. Let's see how day off number two goes.

I slept for 9 hours. That's the longest I have slept in at least three months. Unfortunately I woke up to a very long email from my sister who it appears has been in the hospital the last few days. Hey thanks for calling or texting or emailing me everyone (not my sister obviously). I am just glad she is okay. I worry her head is just going to explode one day like X1's sister's did.
I didn't leave the house once yesterday and it was wonderful. I put together that bookcase. I rearranged books. I made a corned beef for dinner. I then spent like 4 hours organizing media. I still have about 600 files to go, but I organized almost 500 files yesterday. It was wonderful. My OCD has never been happier. I also had my foot wrapped in foam yesterday. That made it so much easier to walk. I looked like an idiot but whatever. Zero fucks given. We watched some TV on the floor a la slumber party mode. It was nice.
Today is a DAY OFF. A real day off too. Not just I don't have anything, no this is I am taking PTO don't fuck with me kind of day off. I am going organize more files, play video games, and hopefully have sex. A good day off.

Woo! I slept in. Well okay, I still only got 4.5 hours sleep, but hey, it's better than 3.5 hours sleep which is when I originally woke up.
Very long day yesterday. We got up and B was craving pancakes so we decided to go to IHOP. Busiest IHOP ever, especially at 10am on a Saturday. On a Sunday I can see lines out the door, but on a Saturday? Luckily the majority of people in front of us were families and larger parties and we were able to get a table in about 10 minutes. After breakfast we decided to hit both Halloween City and Spirit to start checking out options for Halloween. That ended up leaving me very drained. The heel of my foot is driving me up a wall right now and part of the problem is how cracked and hard it is. I caught a piece of skin on my chair the other day and it hurt so bad. By the time we got home I was limping hard.
We got home around 1 and slept until 3:30. We then got ready to head out. We wanted to go to IKEA pre-show and have dinner with friends so we had to get ready pretty early. By them time we both were ready it was a little after 5 and we were on the road around 5:30. It took us almost until 7 to get to IKEA thanks to traffic but it was okay as we had major time to kill until the show. IKEA was PACKED for some weird reason. We did find the bookcase we wanted at a reasonable price which was good. We then met our friends at a mexican place around 8. Had a nice dinner but still had two hours to kill. We ended up at CVS followed by Target where I got some stuff for my foot. I am hoping it helps. You are supposed to use it twice a day for two weeks for it to really work. I tend to not be diligent about things like this but given the amount of pain I am in, I think I will be good. We rolled up at the theater around 10. The show itself went pretty well. A little bit of drama with one of the audience members but nothing involving us. An OLD cast member, like from 15 years ago, was in the audience and she was little drunk, a little loud, and a little too critical of us. She was talked to by our director which almost turned nasty. Luckily nothing major went down, but there was a moment where we though it could go either way.
Got the truck loaded up, hit the road around 3, and made it home a little after 4. Got the bookcase inside and hit bed.
Today is bookcase building and relaxing. I just put a corned beef in the slow cooker for dinner tonight. The weather is beautiful and life is pretty okay.
I don't think I have mentioned our newest family members. Apparently we have 'adopted' a stray cat and her kittens. All week they have been living on our porch. The two kittens are so cute. We set up a box with towels in it for them. I just fed them and they are happily chomping down. See? Life is okay.

Ah hello weekend. Got through yesterday's class with just a couple of issues. One of the demos was giving me a hard time and one of the modules wouldn't start correctly. But I managed to work around it and deal. Finished up class around 1:45 which since one student was in Australia, and 2 were EST, they didn't mind. While I was teaching B was cleaning. This house is so spotless right now. She cleaned EVERYTHING. So much that I stayed out of the way because I thought she was going a little off the deep end. But I understand her need and desire to get it done.
B wanted to go to the crapmart after class and I went along with that. We picked up some food for guests, some stuff for around the house, and some groceries. The week caught up to me while we were there and my energy level crashed. I was dropping things, not moving quickly, and just being a grump. We got home and we knew we had a while before anyone actually arrived and she went to get ready and I ended up taking a baby nap. Like 30 minutes.
Friends arrived around 6:30 for a fun night of pizza and games. There were 5 who came over which was a perfect number for our place. The 7 of us had a great time talking, laughing, and game playing. It was cathartic for us as a group because we got to vent about some things and people on cast that are driving us nuts which is really good as we got it out of our systems before the show tonight.
Everyone headed out around 1 and we headed off to bed. We talked for a while about nothing in particular and fell asleep around 2. Good day with a good night. Now, it's a show night but we are heading down there early because we want to stop at IKEA. We may end up doing dinner with some friends. We shall see.

Not a bad day yesterday. My foot is hurting again now that my throat pain is no longer distracting me. Specifically it's the heel of my foot. I want to wrap my foot in a big giant foam cushion. Or some fuzzy slippers.
Taught all day. Class went pretty much up to the mark. 4 students so a good size class - where we make money but not so many I am stressing out. Everyone was able to keep up and follow along with all the demos. Also the questions asked were reasonable and logical. No bizarre wtf questions.
After class I took a little nap. I went and got mail and a gift I got for B had arrived. There's this place called diamondcandles.com and what they do is they have these really nice candles and embedded in them is a ring valued at anywhere from $10 to $5000. She showed it to me months ago and I decided to surprise her with one. She was so excited and started it at 4:30. At 10:30 it had gone down enough to reveal the ring. She got one I would say is worth around $15-$20 so hey not bad. Plus they smell good. Between about 4 and 6:30 I did the impossible. I OPENED THE LAST BOX. There are no more boxes needing unpacking in our house. I am so fucking happy I could poop. It's so nice to look around and not see a box anywhere.
When I was done I cooked dinner. I made a nice pasta dish with bowtie pasta, shrimp and a cream sauce with squash and garlic bread. We watched some TV and around 8:30 some friends came over to return my cane that they borrowed. We ended up talking until about 10:30 and then off to bed.
I was also productive in adding to our media library yesterday. I added all 200 episodes of Sailor Moon (Japanese originals, uncut and complete), M*A*S*H the movie, 2 seasons of Rookie Blue (I don't know, B wanted it), all episodes of Jeeves and Wooster, and my big score - all 10 seasons of Friends plus all the extras on the DVD box set. Boom. I am thinking that I am going to get another 5TB drive so I can dedicate one to TV and one to Movies then take my 3TB and dedicate that to Pictures and Music. That will put 13TB on the media server and give me 18TB total. BWAHAHAHAHA.
Okay. I need to make it through today and I will have FOUR DAYS OFF. Let's do this!

Two more days to go just two more days and I get two days off.
The first three days this week weren't bad. It's today and tomorrow I am not looking forward to when it comes to classes. The last three days I had my one student, she was intelligent, we finished early every day, and it's a class I enjoy teaching. These next two days, I have four students which I know nothing about and it's my least favorite class. So yeah.
My throat is 90% right now. Still a little scratchy, but livable. Especially since we once again started early and finished by 1. When class was over B and I decided to do something - rearrange the entire living room. We saw an entertainment stand at Goodwill the other day and it was brand new in the box for $120. While that may seem a lot for Goodwill, we saw the SAME ONE for $199 at Target the same day. After tax, that's a $100 difference. It seems that the Goodwill by us is a dumping ground for the local target for when they have too much of something or post-holiday, etc. No complaint here. We also dropped some flyers for the show off at the tattoo shop. We got back home around 2:30 and then spent the next 4 hours rearranging. This is all in anticipation of the couch which won't come for another 3-7 weeks.
I was exhausted by the time we were done and then I made dinner. Some chicken with wild rice and veggies. We then watched some TV and then I played Diablo for a little while. Ended up in bed around 11.
The cat is driving me nuts by the way. Since I will have Mon and Tues off, it will be vet time. Wish me luck on that.
I don't expect today's class to finish early, just the opposite. But I don't have anything to do tonight after work so no big deal.
Okay, need to shower now.

Finally started feeling better yesterday. My throat isn't 100% but it's pretty damn close. Close enough that I wasn't in screaming pain. Hurray for not being in pain? You reach a point where pain becomes the norm and you don't know how to function when you're not in any. I give my throat another couple of day before it is back to normal but it is better at least. Good enough that I made it through class without any serious issues.
The last two days and today I have only one student in my class. This makes for a very flexible schedule obviously. We started class early and as a result finished early. I was done with class by 1pm. Took a nice nap, then decided I was taking B out on a date. We did dinner and a movie on a Tuesday night. Look out, we're wild.
We went out around 5, had dinner at Chili's because she likes it, then went to the movie theater. We saw Boxtrolls. It is a GREAT movie. However, people piss both of us off. Boxtrolls is from the same people who made Coraline and ParaNorman. Neither of which are really "children's" movies. BT is no exception. It is rated PG and really wasn't suitable for small kids. But there they were - families with kids 3-5 years old expecting some happy movie. The movie is about the extinction of entire species. Yes, it's a movie basically about bigotry, hate, and genocide. Perfect little kid fair. It's dark, it's creepy, and it is for younger kids, scary as hell. Once it started most of the little ones were either bored or terrified. It is also extremely well written and frankly I think the dialog was above the heads of half of the audience. We absolutely adored it.
There were some good previews too like Book of Life. I can't remember some of the others, but there was at least one other movie I want to see.
After the movie we tried to go to Foster's Freeze for dessert but they were closed already. It was after all a Tuesday. We got home around 10 and headed to the bedroom. A perfect date night it was. We both decided we need to do this more often. Not just the sex part, but the whole night for ourselves. On a Tuesday.
On the plus side, I have two days off next week. Not just no class, but completely OFF. I am taking Mon/Tues completely to myself. I am going to get shit done even if it kills me. This was confirmed by my boss yesterday but also came with the warning that I may lose my December to travel. Sigh. I am so fucking close to platinum this year on AA that I am willing to deal with it. I just need like 8,000 more miles after the two Texas trips. And as for Hilton? Fuck. If they don't give me a new super secret level after this year, well, poop.
Okay time to finish up my 1:1 class.
