I get to go home today finally! After 18 days on the road with only one full day at home, I am finally going to have a break. Except for the fact that I have to be up at 4:30 tomorrow to teach. Whee.

Yesterday went pretty well. We finished going over all the topics they wanted to cover, I met with the CFO to give him a wrap-up summary, and in the end they agreed to one day of upcoming training on another topic, and potentially 3-6 months of staff augmentation from one of our ETL/Architect folks. It's more a matter of when, not if, and will result in about 100k in revenue for us. Yeah. I did my job. They were also very happy and gave me a 1:87 scale replica of one of their products - a CAT excavator. It's cute but I worry it's going to get messed up in my luggage on the way home.

My flights are later today because they wanted me to leave the morning free in case there were additional questions, which means I didn't check in for my flight until almost 3pm. The upside to these late flights is that I was able to get 1st class on both my flights. They're both only two hour flights, but who cares. I would rather be comfortable for 4 hours for sure.

Got back to the hotel and packed. Headed down to the restaurant for dinner. Came on back up, watched some TV and went to bed around 10. Same old same old.

This morning I am lounging around as I don't have to be at the airport until around 12 or 1. It's about 30 minutes away, so I will probably leave here at 10 after traffic has died down. Which means I have four hours to do nothing. Yay me. I do need to find a gas station, but that's the least of my worries.

That's about it. Now I go home please?
