I am home! I slept in my own bed last night. I didn't get home until 9pm from leaving the hotel at 9am, but I did get home. There was nothing exciting or eventful that happened, other than it being a long day.
Got up, bummed around the hotel until about 9ish then headed out to the airport. Morning traffic was gone and the snow wasn't coming until the afternoon. I got to the airport and found myself with 4.5 hours to kill. I wen to the Admiral's Club and decided to buy a full one year renewal instead of a day pass. I am probably going to get yelled at for it, but whatever. Take it out of my next check.
Sat in the club until time to go. I had 1st class on both of my flights, same seat even - 1A all the way. When I got to the gate I could see the snow had started. This was my concern. I could see and hear around me other flights being canceled for places like NC and NY. I think we were one of the last to get out for the day and even that was 20 minutes late after waiting for de-icing. I was worried about being late and missing my flight in PHX. Luckily while we were 20 minutes late and I had to walk from one end of a terminal to another, I still arrived with 20 minutes to spare. Got on my flight and landed around 7PST. Traffic was not pleasant and it took 1.5 hours for us to get home. When we got home, I mostly unpacked and settled in.
Was in bed around 10:30 and up at 4:30 to teach. Yay me. I also got an email from my boss where he indicates he is sad about something. I am now a bit worried. Hopefully I will find out what's going on today.
