B had a nightmare this morning. She woke up gasping. At least she had the decency to it 4 minutes before my alarm was set to go off. She started to apologize for waking me up and it's like, nah we good. I had to be up anyway.

I now have a portable AC unit in this room. It once again got over 90 in here yesterday and I couldn't take it. $300 spent but this time I made my work pay for it. Since this room is spent doing work and if we had offices there would be AC I figured it was appropriate they pay for it. My boss agreed. It's a little noisy, but if I run it at breaks and lunch it will be a lot better in here today than it has been. The week's forecast is 97, 94, 89, 88... I needed it. If it got over 100 in here today I would die. It's a small room and this one should be okay.

I finished OITNB yesterday. Man. What a great season. Best season yet I feel. I then decided to watch the Twilight Zone. All 159 episodes. Why? Why not.

Got through day two of class. Finished around 2:30. I wanted to nap but avoided it so as not to screw up my sleep cycle. Instead I went and got this AC unit. Spent the time setting it up then made dinner. Made chicken stir fry. We then watched some Great British Bake Off. Love that show. So proper and British.

Talked to the kid. She's having a great time in Ireland. Getting to see a lot of the country. Mostly tourist stuff, but who cares. She's having the time of her life. That's what travel is all about. She's going to take this experience with her her whole life. I am so glad she went on this trip. She deserves it and will be a better person for it.

Paying bills today. Lovely. Nothing like a good bill pay day. But things are okay. Not as good as I would like, but okay. We've spent a little too much on random stuff lately. Need to reign that in a bit. Keep focused on the bigger long term goals. We will get there. Eventually.
