I know I already sent you a text, but happy birthday buddy. May your day be boring and uninteresting.
Went out in the morning to home depot. B got the DIY bug in her. We went and got some sandpaper, paint, and knobs so she can restore and refinish a medicine cabinet we found at a thrift store. That was her project all day. I did laundry while she worked on that. Had pot roast for dinner. Went to the park after dinner for a walk and some hunting. All in all not a bad day. The planes came again. REALLY scary this time. I sent the people responsible a very harsh email saying that they should be warning local neighborhoods if this shit was going on. It was bad. Like wife crying and cats freaking out bad. Stuff falling off shelves and car alarms going off bad. This whole "ooo look at the planes" bullshit can go. No thank you.
That's it for our day. Nothing major. I have three days of classes this week. 4 students, Weds-Fri. I can handle that. $8,000 week for me.
Side note - does anyone actually care about the olympics? Why is this still a thing? Never understood the point of them. Just me probably but it's a lot of time and money spent seeing who can be better than everyone else. Meh.
