As predicted I had a busy day. I was the first one onsite for the company too. Of course. The floor opened at 7 but they all decided they were going to get there at 8. Fucking salespeople. I handled the early morning people for them since I was there. It was only a few people, but still. The nice thing is that the keynote was broadcasted to all the TVs on the floor and I didn't have to try and jam into a huge line with all the other folks.
There were some moments of cheese during the keynote but it was informative and they introduced a couple of cool new things that are really useful to me. That part was good. I went off to my first breakout where I learned about the art of data which was also a good session. Came back to the floor for lunch, took over the booth for a while, then went off to the afternoon sessions. A little less valuable but still very useful from a company perspective.
I ended up getting a headache around 3 and headed back to the hotel around 4. We went to the shops next door for Mexican for dinner. B was doing her editing that she has been needing to finish. She took care of that and we relaxed. Went to bed around 10.
Today is more of the same during the day but then tonight... It's Britney night!! WOO! I am excited about this concert. I really don't know why, but I am. I think because it's the first time in forever I have been in Vegas and actually going to a show. The last show I saw here was Penn and Teller and that was a decade ago.
That's about it. Off to shower.
