Yesterday was a long weird day. I am done with vacation. I need to do something again. I have had too many days off with nothing to do, especially at home. I get too bored after too many days of the same thing and man am I done. I need to do something. Luckily we leave tomorrow for Reno and I get a full week of stuff. Heck, starting tomorrow I am either traveling or teaching for the next seven weeks so I will probably be bitching about that soon enough. Today however it is sorely needed.
I did 'stuff' yesterday. It was just a random kind of day. In the morning we took B's car to be smogged so we can register it in my name. That was a lot less painful than I thought it was going to be. It almost took us longer to get to the shop and back than the actual smog test. I was pretty impressed to be honest.
Got back, did some work, took care of some outstanding emails, paperwork, etc. Took a nap for a while. B is still sick and I am making her rest and take meds even though she says she feels better. Watched some TV, went to Target, had dinner, watched some Psych together, she went and read, I watched OITNB, and went to be around midnight.
It was just an odd long day.
