Slept well again. I like this bed. A lot. Yesterday was a bit frustrating at work. It has devolved from what the original SOW stated as to my tasks out here and at lunch I had to have an email exchange with my boss to bring him up to speed. Due to politics some of the things we were originally asked to do can't happen and I am being asked to do essentially a PMs job. Not a good fit. I sat through 8 hours of meetings and annoying people. It's days like that which remind me why I do not want to work in a single office environment. I was dead to the world when I finished yesterday around 5. It was good for B to see this because sometimes when I am on the road, I don't want to talk at the end of a day and she got to see first hand just how damn tired I am because of these people. For dinner we went to the Texas Roadhouse. Meh. She likes it. I wouldn't have personally made that choice, but whatever. After dinner we went to the bookstore as one of the authors I enjoy just released a new book. I am going to save it for next week's trip but I figured I would pick it up now before I forgot. That's about the extent of the day. Let's see how work goes today. I am not expecting much improvement over yesterday unfortunately.
