I have no idea why I am up so early. But it's better than when I woke up two hours ago. At least I managed to fall back to sleep for a little while.
It got so fucking hot here yesterday it was unbearable in this apartment. It was okay in the morning, but by 2 it was awful. Luckily we managed to get most of our stuff done early in the morning. We really did accomplish a ton of things yesterday actually.
First off we got up early to drop my car off for service. We got to the dealer around 6:45 and left my car. We then went to DMV to take care of B's car. I now own a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am. It is now in my name, registered, and fully insured. We were at the DMV from 7 until about 9, but it's done and done. Got the new plates and tags right then and there. After DMV we hit the store because B needed some stuff. While were there they called letting us know my car was done. Everything went smoothly with my car. No issues and they even washed it.
On the way home we stopped at the auto parts store because we had to get B a front license plate bracket. They don't need them in MI but here it's law to have both. Stopped for mexican and then B went to lay down and I started taking care of more shit. I put her bracket and plates on, did laundry, gave myself a haircut, timesheet, expense report, sent out multiple emails to clients, organized media files, and had a call about the next couple of weeks with my boss. He messed up and forgot to have the manuals for next week sent and he needed to call FedEx for a print job. I had to go back out around 7 to pick them up. In between, B slept, I finally took a little nap around 1, and we went to the pool. Since we had to go back out to pick up the manuals we also stopped for ice cream. Like 9000 other people as it was hell outside.
Got back home and we both just kind of melted. I was exhausted around 10 and went to bed. She came in at 11 and read for a while.
Today we have nothing until 7pm when we are going to a party for one of her former co-workers and then we have a show. Lazy day, busy night.
