Last day! It should be a short one too. Just a couple of meetings - one in the morning, one in the afternoon. A lot of sitting again, but it will be over. Then I get some alone time next week. Yes, I have to travel, but at least I will get some time to myself. It's important to have alone time. Need to recharge and recuperate.
Another long day of sitting and listening to people talk in circles. This client has some serious issues. The VP I am working with showed me a presentation from two years ago that almost is identical to the one I put together this week. Good in the sense that identified the same things wrong, bad that they haven't made any progress in two years.
Finished up around 3 and B and I went to try and take care of something. I need some screws for my laptop but the shop I found wouldn't sell them to me because according to them my battery is swollen and the screws will just pop out again. Plus they were warning me about it blowing up and catching on fire. Yada yada. When we got back I looked up laptop batteries and found one for $129. I will order it when I have a chance. I may also increase the memory in this thing so I can keep it for another year or two. New battery, more memory, new HD and this thing will keep on trucking I hope.
For dinner we didn't do anything exciting - Del Taco. Woo. Basically we stayed in the room reading and talking until about 10 when I fell asleep. I don't know what time she crashed.
I want to go home now.
