Pre-birthday party success!! We had a great day yesterday. We left around 5:15 and B slept for about 3 of the six hours. We stopped for gas at one point as is normal. We got down here earlier than anticipated and needed to kill some time before going to my boss's house. I have to note, it's weird he's my boss as we have known each other for years. Neither of us really recognizes the boss/employee dynamic either because of it. Anyway, we got here early and ended up stopping for some lunch and wander around the mall. I found a princess tank top and a stitch backpack both of which will be in use today in the park. We got to their house around 1:30 and the fun began. They had his parents and some friends stop by during the day and we all swam and drank and had a fun time. Their daughter is extremely cute. Two is a good age for kids. We BBQd and had some fantastic steaks with rice and mushrooms, and salad. Since it was super hot here around 9 everyone was tired and we all crashed out.
In a little while I am waking B up and we are heading to the park!
