We saw the eclipse last night. Really cool. Won't be another super moon eclipse for about 18 years so it was definitely something worth watching.

Had a nice quiet day. Watched a bunch of new shows to see which ones are worthy of continuing to pay attention to this season. Watched Rosewood (B),  the new Doctor,  Life in Pieces (C-), Blindspot (B-), and started to watch Heroes Reborn but B wants to watch the original first. Okay. I am cool with that. We also watched the latest Downton Abbey (damn you Lady Mary and your headstrong ways) and the premiere of 99. A day of slacking for sure.

We also did all the laundry, made shrimp and grits for dinner, and found B a new pair of shoes. It's starting to get a little chilly here and we are realizing just how little winter type clothing we both own. This is what happens when you live in the damn desert too long.

I also did some baking and made a pumpkin pie spice cake. It came out okay. I wish we still had cast members to bring the leftovers to though. We are never going to finish it all on our own. We also made plans for next weekend with my sister. It's the opening weekend of Applefest at a cider mill about 2 hours away. It will make for a nice adventure next weekend. They have hay rides and the like. Stuff that B loves. It will also be nice to see my sister for a day. I like that we live close enough to each other that we can visit like that, but not so close that we get on each other's nerves.

That's about it. I have 4 days of classes this week but haven't heard from anyone in days as to what I need to be working on today. I am just going to chill and be prepared for anything. I do need to do my time sheet and expense report but my latest client hasn't been added to my list of available projects. Until that happens I can't do anything.

Don't know why I keep waking up when I do. I went to bed at 10:30 last night hoping to sleep in a little bit this morning, but no such luck. Some day I will sleep in again. Some day.
