A decision has been made. We will be laying down LVP in the basement. We got a quote from Lumber Liquidators and it will run us about $1100 to do the area we want done. That includes all the trim, the underlayment, and the planks. But that can't happen until the asbestos tile is ripped out. Yeah, that's what was under the carpet. Lovely. B's dad is going to do that. When? Don't know. So I have a torn apart basement. FML.
Went to the eye doctor yesterday. All is good except they don't work with contacts so I tried calling my old office to order contacts and they haven't returned my calls. Double FML.
Hey did find one cool thing - B is heading to the cabin with her grandpa today and she wanted to pick up a thermal. Next door to where she went is a Sears. I popped in and found their Christmas department. We got a $400 7.5 ft tree for $80. SCORE! It looks great, works great, and that's the best thing about yesterday.
I have a bunch of little shit to do today. Let's get it done.
