Y11 D12

Home. 3h 13m. Five minutes faster than the trip there. Mostly because of less traffic in the areas where the freeway turns into town. But had more lane closures and crews on the way home. Trade off. Regardless, it was still faster than flying. You know, I keep saying that but wait a second... Nope. I was right. There are no non-stop flights out of here and the fastest is 3h 24 minutes sending me through DC, 3h 54m sending me to Chicago. No thanks. I will drive for that time difference. Because that doesn't include getting to the airport, waiting around, getting my rental car, dropping it off, etc. Granted, I have a rental car here, but it's much more leisurely. I have two more trips this month and I will drive. Looks like in July I will have Boston and OK and then in August, Los Angeles. That's a good 10,000 miles right there. Works for me.

Day three was good. They weren't a bad group, but man they had a lot of questions. 14 people in the room and some struggled a bit but in the end we got there. Finished 6 minutes over but it was worth it. I went to Chick-Fil-A for dinner, slept from 7 until 11. Took a shower and left.

Today I have to drop off the car and then AC guy is coming around 11. Let's hope that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
