So the AC isn't working. It's physically coming on and doing it's thing, but it's pushing out air, not cold air. Looks like we have to get it recharged. There's a call I have to make tomorrow. I am not calling this weekend because this isn't an emergency and I'm not paying emergency or even weekend rates. Luckily the basement is cold without air. We even went so far as putting the bed from the guest bedroom down there if it got bad. Luckily we opened the windows in the bedroom last night and not only was it acceptable, but I had the best sleep in a week. God I love outside air.
Went to the mall yesterday to pick up something B ordered, went to the grocery store, and took care of some little errands. Came back home and relaxed. Around midday the sky cracked open with massive thunder and lightning that went all night long. Even hailed at one point. Severe storm warning in effect.
It broke long enough around 5 for me to grill some steaks outside. That was fun. They came out great. We had steaks, corn, and a nice apple salad. Watched some tv, and went to bed around 11.
No plans for today that I am aware of. Of course that can always change. Leave tomorrow for OH.
