I love when we hit this time of year in TV land. Standard TV land that is. Shows finishing up for the season, cliff hangers, no idea if things are coming back. Oh yeah, good times. Bah.Old media is dead. Long live New media. Great. Now I want to watch Videodrome. Eddy Haskell died. Used to watch that in the summers at my grandmother's house. That and Perry Mason. Ah those were the days. Wait, here's one for you - yesterday was Kurt Loder's birthday. He turned 7 fucking 5. Yeah. MTV launched 39 years ago. Let that sink in. Almost 4 decades MTV has been on the air. Remember Headbanger's Ball? Remember when videos were just concert footage? We be old motherfuckers.
Taught day two of my class. Went quite well actually. After class I received multiple pieces of praise from my students including one sent to the powers that be on both my side and the client's. That's always nice. Makes it all worthwhile. Long day, but rewarding.
Made nice lamb shoulders for dinner. Was quite happy at how they came out. Watched a little tv, went to bed.
Today taking one of the cats to the vet. Her ears have been bugging her plus she is due for a rabies shot. This should be interesting. It's a call from the parking lot situation. Let's see how this goes.
