Happy 100!! At 9am no less! I slept in finally! Sweet mother of god, I slept in. Call the papers, call the press! Fuck. None of that makes sense in today's world, does it?

Of course we were up until 2:30 so it's not like I truly slept in. I got my normal amount of sleep. Just delayed. Have I mentioned I have the best partner? Yes? Well too bad, because you're going to hear about her again. Suck it.

Yesterday she worked. I spent the day working on a dresser. I completely refinished this nasty ass green dresser B left behind. Functionally it's fine, but it was ugly as sin. The person we bought it from had painted it with chalk paint, never sealed it, and painted over the hardware. All in all it bugged me whenever I looked at it. I got some white chalk paint, the proper wax to seal it, and stripped that hardware. 3 coats of paint plus one coat of wax later and I am happy. Pictures tomorrow as the final coat is still drying. But here's the thing, I would work on a coat then wait two hours before the next coat. I was bored and puttering around the house. I was getting sad and lonely. It's not C's fault, but she has worked every weekend since starting and it sucks. I have been up at 4:30 every fucking weekend day. Tired of it. So when C got home I commented on how proud of her I was, but that I'd like to do something together because I've missed her and this weekend shit sucks. I was talking about today, but that little minx surprised me with 10pm, no one under 16 allowed, Barbie tickets!! WOO! I got to dress pretty and go out at night! Late night date night surprise! We had the best time. Because it's a 2 month old movie and it was 10pm, there were two other people besides us. Fucking rocked. They were in row three, we were in the back. Neither of us bugged the other. Downside is you get the end of night popcorn but meh, it was a good time. We got home, did other things, and finally went to sleep around 2:30.

I don't know what we're going to do today, but it doesn't matter. I had a good time last night.
