Happy DST end! I know a lot of you are probably already awake because of the time change. If you're like me you woke up an hour ago, freaked out, looked at your phone, and realized fuck, it's that time of year again isn't it? That was me at 2:55am. I did manage to fall back to sleep thank goodness.
Did some stuff yesterday. Biggest accomplishment was picking up some more boxes in case B needs them this week. I leave tomorrow, and she gets home on Tuesday. Stupid cats have about 36 hours alone to kill each other. Good luck with that cats. I was going to pack some stuff yesterday but every time I looked at something I said, no, B will need that while I am gone. So while we have the boxes, there's still a bunch of shit unpacked. Next weekend will be a scramble but okay.
We did make our hotel reservations for the trip. We will be staying in Billings MT night one, then on to Eagan MN for night two. Arrive day three in MI. The first day will be 900 miles and a bit of a push, but it was the closest place that accepted pets.
B spent the day at the house cleaning and go over things. The previous owner left a shit ton of holes in the walls and didn't bother to patch or paint. Lovely. She is going to get a couple of gallons of paint today and her dad will paint while we're gone. That's one good thing at least.
I am still eating through all the food in here. Had the second to last salmon available. Tonight is the last serving. Whew. I really do wish I wasn't going out of town next week, but we need the work, I need the hotel nights, etc. Once I am done with them though, I am done until nearly the end of the month.
Played some video games, watched some tv. Not much else.
This morning I am supposed to get a call about the bike. They should be picking it up today. I have to go downstairs, move the car, and get things ready. That's my big adventure for the day. I will also be packing up the wine and tonight some of the computer equipment.
We're in the home stretch people.
