I am getting a hotel cold. Dry throat, scratchy, stuffed up head. Ugh. It's the last thing I need right now. Very uncool. I have some throat drops in my bag so I will be sucking those down today. There really is very little around here too which makes it hard for me to get medicine or anything else. One more day. I can go home tomorrow. If I was really feeling adventurous I could get in the car tonight after class and drive home. But I already have a paid for flight, paid for car service, and next week I am going to drive for three straight days. So no, not going to drive home. Screw that.
Looks like I will be in SoCal for a week in December. Now just to get the TN gig lined up and I will make all my numbers in December. As of right now without TN, I will miss my American status by 5k miles, and the hotel status by one night. The hotel I can deal with, but not the air. I need those miles.
Got through day two without killing anyone which is a miracle since mr I know everything wouldn't shut up or pay attention all day. Everything I said he needed to challenge to prove his superiority. Whatever dude. Just don't come if you don't want to be here.
After I was too tired to do anything so I came back, dinner in the restaurant, tv, video games, bed.
B was busy getting all of her stuff packed. I left her a ton of boxes but apparently she needed more. Ok, whatever. I also heard back from the leasing office. They denied our claim to reduce the lease break fee. I hope you enjoy $10 a month for the next 234 months then people. Because I can't afford much else at this point. It is what it is.
Not much else to say today. Had a good morning chit chat with the kid. Nothing specific. Just shooting the breeze. She is much happier since moving into her new place. She is enjoying her privacy and not having to drive two hours a day. Proud of her on that for sure.
Time to get ready. Have to remember to check in for my flight at some point.
