Y5 D20

Got wild on a Thursday. Haven't done that in a while. It was a long day yesterday too. Let's see if I can break down and remember everything that transpired yesterday.

The morning started off early when I went to the city for this conference. I didn't realize that I was listed as a sponsor. Mostly because I didn't know we WERE a sponsor. Imagine my surprise when I got handed a special badge. Went into the conference area and saw our table. It was a small showcase area where there were only three or four different companies besides the host company. I talked to our sales VP who was manning the table. At 8 the keynote speeches began. Sat through all of those and then went to different sessions throughout the day. I actually did learn some new things. I learned about some products I wasn't previously aware of and how they integrate into what we currently use and teach. I did mention to my bosses that I would like to learn about these new products.

Afterwards we held a small private party at the bar next door. That's where things get a little fuzzy. Drinks were poured and someone else was paying. From 3-5 I drank. And talked. And drank. And then I get a text from the kid which I misread. She was telling me something was wrong with the car and I misread it as 'I think it's on fire'. What she actually typed was 'I think it's the tire'. Luckily when I got home around 10 I discovered it was neither of these things. I did call her right away and learned it wasn't on fire thank goodness.

At 5:30 I met my friend and we headed of to FONDUE! I haven't had fondue in so long and it was so good. We sat and had fondue and salad and dessert fondue and more booze. Way too much booze. I left her around 8:30 and got on a train back home. I was falling asleep on the train home. I was at that point. I wasn't drunk but I also was done.

Managed to get home to an empty house. The kid and KBF were off at our director's house for a party. Talked with B on skype. Talked for almost two hours. Around midnight I sat down on the couch and oh look, I passed out on the couch. Whee. Woke up on the couch this morning thinking it was Saturday, realized it wasn't, and promptly fell right back asleep. Luckily I don' t have any meetings until 9:30.

Today should be interesting. I need to go see what is wrong with the car.
