Stressing right now. I have a class starting in 90 minutes and I have no server information. I am giving him 30 minutes to get me the info before I start calling. I know it sucks for me to call someone at 6am but.
B and her friend are in Salt Lake. They made it another 800+ miles yesterday. They have 750 to go today and she is here. Holy shit. I am 80% ready for her. I need to do laundry, vacuum, clean the carpets, throw out some junk in my room - yeah not a problem.
Worked on a new training all day yesterday and managed to get it finished. Also lined up some more training dates in July. Onsite local stuff but it fills my month. As of right now I only have like three days in July not booked. That is good.
Also made my hotel reservation for my birthday yesterday as well as my dinner reservation. All done. I managed to get three nights at the decent Hilton for $130. Not too bad. At least I know that is done. Went to target and got the stuff I needed to finish cleaning the house. Just need to do it tonight. The earliest they will be here is 7 so I have a few hours once I am done with class but not a lot. I will need to hustle. I can do this.
Had sushi with the kid last night. Yesterday was a major day with the repeal of Proposition 8 and the repeal of DOMA. While neither impacts me directly, it does impact a good number of my friends. I stopped by my one friend's house to pick up a wig for my birthday show and he and his partner were celebrating like crazy. Ah, drunk gays. They are so cute.
Plus yesterday saw a filibuster in Texas have positive results. Pretty cool stuff. I was amazed at the audacity of the person leading the vote. In this day and age of live feeds and mobile devices to try and say it was a different time than it was is simply ridiculous. There are 1000 people in the room all with synchronized clocks and you are going to use your watch? Idiot.
Went to bed around 11 last night. That was after taking care of Ethel the rat. She is no more. Down to the cat, the bunnies, the snake, and the hamster. Yeah, still a zoo, but a smaller zoo.
