I hate the line of cars that forms outside our house in the mornings. Sheep on their way to the slaughter. From now until until about 8:30 it's just a steady stream of it. Makes me think of:
You get up every morning from your alarm clock's warning
Take the 8:15 into the city
There's a whistle up above and people pushin', people shovin'
And the girls who try to look pretty
And if your train's on time, you can get to work by nine
And start your slaving job to get your pay
Meh. Live and live. I'm still part of that machine, I just don't have to deal with the whole commute part. But I am still part of the capitalism factory.
Ah cynicism at 6:30am. What a time to be alive.
Worked on my stuff yesterday. B made meatloaf for dinner. We went to the mall after dinner to get out of the house. That was actually enjoyable. Everyone around here is still reeling from Christmas so it was dead as heck which works for us. She got a new hoodie from forever 21 and I got some candy from lolli and pops. Look out, we're wild.
She also got a crazy clean streak in her yesterday. Because we finally got the headboard hung up (still owe you a picture), it meant she got her office back. That triggered cleaning time. So now her office is put back together, the hall closet is reorganized as is the entire guest room. Okay. It all looks good and I got to stay out of the way with only minor assisting. I can handle that.
Today I would like to finish my new class. I think I can do it. B will probably go to bingo so not much else going on. One week until I leave again.
