Holy crap, I slept for like 9 hours. Woo boy! There goes most of my morning. Oh well. It's not like I have any exciting plans for the day. I have to go to the store to get taco shells at some point for tacos for dinner, but otherwise, no plans at all. I can handle some sleeping.

As for yesterday, I had the best eye exam ever. Seriously. This new office I went to was so much more efficient, updated, and knowledgeable than where I went last year. I learned something huge. I currently wear my contacts monthly per my doctor's instructions. Well guess what? They were never meant to be monthlies. They're so supposed to be bi-monthly. The FDA has only ever approved my contacts to be worn for two weeks then replaced. Why have all my doctors said to wear them monthly? Humidity. Because the humidity is so much different where I've always lived, the lenses are okay as monthly. But since there is real changes to the weather here, especially during the winter, I should be changing them out every two weeks. This also explains why I have problems the last week or so of wearing my lenses. Even though I may have lived in a humid location, my travels put me in different places which tended to try them out faster. Add to that, the brand of lens solution I have been using can leave a film on the lens especially after 3 or 4 weeks of wear that can cause problems. Many of the things I have complained about for years, have all been due to lack of knowledge. I was so impressed with how they explained and did things at this new office.

After the eye doctor, went to target to pick up a prescription for B. Came home and she surprised me with a forgotten Christmas gift. It rolled behind something in her office and she had totally forgotten about it. It's one of those scratch off world maps to show where you've been. We went back out to the store, got some foam board, mounted it, and scratched off 90% of the US and the 11 other countries I have been to. Now we're going to hang it above my desk. Neat.

Got the brine shrimp setup and they should be hatching throughout the day today. Hopefully she has enough axolotl babies left. I know they had another set of eggs so this time we will be ready for them.

Made a nice piece of swordfish with a pineapple peach salsa last night. Came out really nice. Was happy about that. We watched some TV and went to bed. She's about 80% recovered. Another day or two and she'll be great.

That's about it. Hope everyone is tolerating the new year especially since Bush, I mean Reagan, I mean Bush 2, I mean stupidhead, has us in a war with Iraq and Iran this time. Good job fucktard.
