Y11 D249

I was up until midnight last night. I was trying to salvage a drive issue. The D drive on my laptop was lost. Luckily it was my "data" drive so the machine still boots but. It all started when I was doing a dual boot to ubuntu to test something for work (this is technically my work machine) and after testing I wanted to get rid of that partition. Since my D is a dynamic drive I ended up with 600gb of unallocated non-contiguous space. It wouldn't let me reclaim that space nor can I get grub off here. So now I am rebuilding my D drive (which I had 90% backed up) but more importantly, I still need to get grub off this fucking thing. Anyone who knows how to pull grub off a drive, let me know. I did a bootsect /nt60 /mbr but it didn't clear it. Sigh.

Spent the rest of my day teaching 15 people from Pru. Not a bad group. Some duds but enough people to keep me awake and going. Had leftover stew for dinner.

10:30 - 6:30 again today. Then tomorrow I might take the day off. We shall see.
