I went to three different stores yesterday morning and took 2.5 hours but I got everything on our grocery list. There's something satisfying about an empty shopping list. We got all the groceries dammit. We have a full two weeks of menus planned out as well. Small victories.
When B got up we then went for more errands. We started at home depot because she decided to build an outdoor habitat for this neighborhood cat we keep seeing at night. We don't know if he's a stray or just gets out at night, but regardless, he now has a place to sleep if he wants it. Took trips to Home Depot and Target to get tubs, insulation, etc. Then we came home, assembled it, and took a break. Around 3 we had a mini-spa appointment. I got a lash tint and she got an eyebrow tint. It was a fluke this place had an appointment available but we were both very happy with the place, our stylist, and the results. Definitely go back.
She mad pot pies for dinner and then I went and picked up the friend, whom I have to drive to work in a little while. Speaking of people without cars, we are finally breaking down and buying a second car. We are doing our research and have found some options. More on that as it develops.
So today I am driving the friend, then we are probably driving around to dealerships. Whee.
