Thank god for the end of DST. I have never needed an extra hour so bad in my life. We got through three shows in three days. Done. I am now taking off the rest of November and most of December. I am done. I will go to the NYE show and at the end of that, submit my resignation. Done, done, done.
Day time was pretty good. I got up early and cleaned while B slept. When B got up she helped in the cleaning and did laundry. Between the two of us we had things finally back in order around here by 1. We headed out, grabbed some lunch, then went to the store to get her some food while I am gone all next week. Got back home, put everything away, then we both napped from 4-6. Got ready and headed down towards the theater. We stopped for dinner at the new place the kid is working. Man it was hopping. I am proud of her for sticking it out. I can tell it is a lot of stress for her, but she is doing it and making good money too. She told us she normally does $300 or so a shift in sales, but when we got there around 8, she already had done $1300 for the day. Damn, good job! She will be racking in the tips. After dinner, we parked around from the theater and just relaxed in the car. Did the show, changed our clocks, and headed home.
That's it. Today we are rearranging furniture as our new couch arrives while I am gone. Otherwise, nothing else going on today. Thank the stars.
