Haven't taught from home in 5+ weeks. Have to get myself in the groove. I have a two day class starting in 75 minutes. Okay. I can do this. Shake it off. I am like a large majority of people today - Just get through the next two days, fake it on Wednesday, hello 4 days off.
Spent the day with our friends just hanging out. Nothing exciting. We watched a movie, played on the internet, had the taco bell, etc. B needed the company after being alone for so long. We drove them back to the train station around 6, then we had BJs for dinner. Came back, watched some TV, went to bed.
Pretty nondescript day. Did talk to the kid. That went well. No issues. She was relieved actually too but for different reasons. She was stressing about how she was getting to MI for the wedding. Between plane costs, hotel, etc. So now she doesn't have to worry about it. Plus she is happy for me. That's all that matters at the end of the day.
Okay, let's go shower so I can get through 14 hours and be home free.
