Nothing like being up at 6am on a Saturday. Tomorrow won't be any better unfortunately as tomorrow is a travel day. Which is why I am up at now, to check in for my flight. No upgrades confirmed yet which blows as it's a Sunday flight. You'd think I would have gotten at least one. Whatever.

A quick shout out to my sister and her husband. They finally found a new place for themselves and will be out of his parent's place on Monday. I am really happy for her. They are also paying a shit ton less than us so bite me sis. Love ya.

Yesterday was a day of work and organizing. Sorry, got distracted while typing. Had a conference call in the morning with a client in OK. Looks like I will be traveling back out there in December. I am trying to fill my last two open weeks with trips. One to OK and one to TX as the Bahamas gig isn't moving forward until January as I mentioned. I was on the phone with them for over 90 minutes and it was a really productive call for everyone. I do enjoy my job when I hear the excitement in a new user's voice when they have made something work.

FUCK. Thank god for autosave. I was installing something in the background while I was working on this and it decided it needed to close all my browser windows so it could do some bullshit stealth thing. I fucking hate apps that try to hijack browsers. Fuckers. Your application has now been deleted. Fuck off.

Back to yesterday, got off the phone and did some more catching up on work. Afterwards, B decided she wanted to put the tree up since I will be gone so much. Okay, I am cool with that as I already had about 10 presents to go under the tree for her and the kid. We spent a couple of hours taking care of all that, watched a little TV and then took a nap. I slept from 1:30 until 3, her until 5. We went and grabbed mexican for dinner, caught up a little more, then I went in here to finish the laptop migration (still needed office and now it is done), timesheets, and expense reports. All done. Now I have nothing to do today which is awesome. I do have to run to the store and get some cat food, but I can probably have that done before she even wakes up.

I then dove into organizing media files. Whenever I am gone like I was, things back up. I organized over 300 files last night and have 1200 left to go. But while I am gone next week, she has plenty to watch now. That took me until almost 1am. But I feel so much better. I am going to try to get through another big chunk of that 1200 today. Then I get to go to bed at 8 so I can be up at 1:30. So much fun.
