Y6 D183

More people on B's side and mine know now. We told her other grandparents last night. I told one of the guys who was in the wedding. He actually already knew about the married part, just brought him up to speed on the canceled part.

Taught my class. Seven students, most of them kind of meh. They are smart enough, but they just don't seem to have a ton of energy. Probably because like me, they just want to get through this and be done. I don't blame them for that. I am trying to be high energy but yeah, I just want to be done too.

After class we um, did something, thinking... um... Shit. I honestly can't remember what we did after class. I didn't nap, I know that. I also know we took care of some online stuff for her family for Christmas, but I swear we went out. YES! I remember! We went to Staples! I needed a cable for my new laptop. That's it!  During class I was looking online to see if anyone had this cable in stock locally so I didn't have to drive 25 miles to the nearest Apple store. After checking everywhere I finally found one at Staples and did an in-store pickup. The cable I needed was a thunderbolt to ethernet adaptor. One issue I have with the new laptop is it only has two usb and two thunderbolt. No ethernet. Sorry, I don't always go places with wifi and I like to teach my classes with a hard line in case of problem. After Staples we went to the piercing place and B got a second nose piercing. It's an early Christmas present for her.

Came back, talked with family, then we both watched the live stream of Ferguson. That was watching history. Felt like O.J. all over again. Watched some less depressing TV with serial killers, then she wasn't feeling well and went off to bed. Me? I got a wild hair up my ass and loaded up Half Life 2 of all things. I started up the steam client to see what was new and was like you know... I may even install Portal for the hell of it.

Went to bed around 11. One more day of teaching then a day of helping some people via email, then boom baby, four days of peace.
