Y6 D13

Doing better. Mentally at least. My right arm is in pain because last night I tripped and slammed it sideways into the edge of a wall. I have a serious bump and bruise right at the elbow. Hurts to bend it. I think I hit a nerve because my fingers hurt too. I'm falling apart. Yay me.

Taught my class, got through it with no issues thank goodness. I now have a few days before I have to teach again. After class I worked on a puzzle. Take a break from the damn computer. When B got home she decided she wanted to try and finish watching the Matrix trilogy. We got an hour through the second one before she realized how stupid it is. I didn't say anything and let her come to that decision on her own. I'm sorry, but some movies should just never have sequels. That's one of them. The second one is an hour too long and makes no sense. The third one is just a bad Jesus movie. When she finally gave up we went out to grab some dinner. I convinced her to go to a Peruvian place I like. She did okay there. She managed to find something she liked and it was fun. After we stopped at Best Buy because I am looking for a new hard drive. I found a 5 (FIVE!) tb drive for $219. I am going to go back today to pick it up. That will give me 12tb across my machines. Insane. 10 years ago no one had more than 1 or 2tb if they were high end. Now 12?? Loving it. I also looked at new stereo receivers. Mine is now 7 years no wait 8, and the HDMI port doesn't work, I've lost the remote, and it is out of date for today's tech. I found one I like for $400. I don't know about that though. Mine still works and I am not dying. I may just wait until mine finally dies completely. It was just good to see what was out there. I also may look online. I might find something better for less.

I paid ALL the bills yesterday. All my normal bills plus paid off three cards as planned. THAT felt good. Damn good. Also paid one of my DMV bills. Early for the first time in five years. That felt even better. No fees, no fear. Just bam.

When we got back B took a nice hot bath and I worked more on the puzzle. We headed to bed around 11.

Today I have errands followed by a show tonight.
