Happy Kraken Appreciation Day! It's the fourth year of our made up holiday. Tonight shall be spent having Chinese food and rum while watching Clash of the Titans! Yeah, it's a dumb 'holiday' but no worse than the others people create to amuse themselves.
Got through my class with no issues. Finished up around 1:30. B got home around 2 and we got ready to go out to the memorial service. We got to the house around 4 and helped get things ready before going off to the church. Our friends were very grateful we arrived early as we were the only ones who went to the house before the service. We got to the church around 4:30 and helped with everything there too. It was B's first hard core Catholic funeral and she is not eager to go to another. The priest was not very good to be honest. It seemed like he just graduated from seminary the way he kept having to read his notes. He was doing everything by the book. It was kind of annoying. Most of us were put off by him unfortunately. It was a good service regardless with a good turnout. We got back to the house around 7 and then ate and drank and had a good time. We got home around 10:30 and crashed.
Today is the last day of this class. Tonight is an early night because we have to be up at three tomorrow for B's flight. Then I will come back home and go back to bed for a while. We need to get laundry and packing done today after class. And eat Chinese food!
