Y6 D11

So sleepy. Need another couple of hours of sleep. But yesterday I had a student comment on something that really goes to the heart of why I get up so early. She commented on how she loved my energy level "even at the start of class". Yeah, it's because I have been up for 2.5 hours before you people even arrive. Just so I can be the energy when you get here. Got through class with no issues thank goodness. Finished up around 2 and took a brief nap. B had the day off and napped with me. Although her idea of nap and mine are very different. Hers is 3 hours where as mine is 45 minutes. Which means I got up around 3 whereas she got up around 5. I keep trying to explain to her that 'naps' that long will screw up her nighttime sleep schedule but if I try to wake her up after an hour she is too grumpy and it just isn't worth it.

After she got up I made us dinner. Pork chops with veggies and some left over potatoes. After dinner I helped a friend out by doing a mock phone interview for her. She is putting her feelers out to see how the market looks for someone with her skills but it's been a while since she had to interview with anyone. It went pretty well. I hit her with a couple of questions that she wasn't ready for which I think helped. She now has answers prepared. We also went over some common questions and how to answer them in the best manner.

Once that was done, B and I continued her moviecation. We watched The Animatrix. Yeah, I know but in order to have the full experience she has to watch them all. You can't bitch about what you haven't seen. While she mostly enjoyed the stories, some of the animation was not to her liking. I can respect that as I don't like some of it either. When it was over she watched an episode of something and Diablo'd for a little while. We got into bed around 10:30. Of course she wasn't tired. Gee what a shock. Around 11 after keeping me awake she got up. I promptly fell asleep. I have no idea what time she came to bed.

Two more days of classes. Today and tomorrow are one off - a basic class followed by an advanced. I only have 3 students today but all 3 will be in Friday's plus 4 more. This has been a good week for me in terms of class sizes and revenue. This is one of those weeks where I have made my entire month in 5 days. I figured it out last night. This week has made the company $25-$27k. Which means I could do nothing the rest of the month and we would still make numbers. BUT I have at least 9 more days left this month where I am training out of 11 available. So yeah, good month.

Man I wish I could just go back to sleep for a little while. Sigh.
