Made it home. Got home around 2 something and was in bed around 2:30. Managed to sleep for 5 hours so that's not bad. I spent yesterday doing the class and then afterwards I slept for 3 hours to prepare myself for the drive home. Talked with B for a while when I woke up from my nap. I was sitting around trying to figure out why I originally planning on leaving at midnight. My initial thinking was skewed because of driving the other way and having to wait for the park to open. Part of it is traffic too. I could see the freeway from my hotel room and I just kept an eye on it to see when it died down. Also during the day we got some of the dates for my next trips sorted out. I will be going to Tulsa, Columbus, St. Louis, then back to Columbus. That last one will be for two weeks. 5 out of 8 weeks on the road. Damn. Well, I will get some good miles and points out of it, that's for sure. Speaking of points, yesterday the manager of the hotel called me, they added 10,000 points to my account to apologize for the noise issues. Cool. Got on the road around 8 and it was an uneventful drive. Leaving earlier made it a little easier. I didn't start getting tired until around midnight and by then I was a good part of the way home. The house was in good shape. The kitties happy to see me.
Today I need to unpack, clean, do some work stuff, order contacts, and relax. It's weird being home alone that's for sure.
