Y6 D15

I'm getting to it dammit don't rush me!

Okay, yesterday. I got up at 7 because the blanket monster stole all of them. Fine by me because I started my file copies. Took a little over 2 hours to do movies. TV took the rest of the day. Now that I have everything copied over I have to rebuild the libraries on the other machine which is going to take time. The trick is keeping the two systems in synch before I get everything finalized. It's going to be a couple of days before I have everything done so I have to make sure I keep everything the way I want.

B got up around 11 and I made her breakfast. She wanted to go out and pick up a couple of flash drives to bring on her trip to give her sisters some movies while she is there. We headed out around noon and went to the store. By that point the heat had started. It was 93 here yesterday and we were both dying. We stayed out in stores because they had air conditioning. We got home around 3 and both of us crashed partly due to being tired but also due to the heat. I slept for about an hour, she slept for 3. When she woke up we got ready and headed over to our director's house. We had a movie night over there and since they live at the beach it was like 25 degrees cooler. So nice. We stayed and hung out until about 11.

A good day with friends and family. Nothing major happened, I got some things accomplished, and we had a nice day. Other than it being too fucking hot, it was alright. The weather today is supposed to be the same and I am not looking forward to it. I am going to hide in the house and work on updating one of our classes.

This is her last week at work and then she heads out to MI on Saturday. On Thursday we have the memorial service. Then I am off to that training class and Disneyland. I can make it through the week dammit.
