WTF?? Another rock legend gone. This time we lost David Bowie people. The Thin White Duke. Ziggy Stardust. The Man Who Fell to Earth. Goblin King. So much he gave us for entertainment and now it's gone. Thankfully last Thursday on his 69th birthday, he released one last piece of beauty. His album Blackstar no matter how good or bad, gives us one last piece of the glory and life of one of music's greats.
In less important news, I am happy with the battery life on my new phone. I charged it to 100% at 6am on Saturday and I just plugged it in at 41%. Almost 2 full days and I still wasn't empty. Not bad.
We went out yesterday morning to run some errands as B had the wild hair up her butt to clean and organize before the kid gets here. That involved emptying out the pantry, the hall closet, the laundry area, and the linen closet. Man I love how much space this place has. I don't like how much reorganizing involves work dammit. Things look good right now don't get me wrong, but that was our whole day. It even involved me having to go back to the store halfway through because she ran out of Dymo label tape. I had to put gas in, go to the store, deal with people, ugh.
After all that I made chicken for dinner with baked asparagus. Came out really nice I think. We watched some TV, B read for a while, took a bath, I played some Fallout, and then we went to bed around 10:30.
This week I am back to teaching. I have a 4 hour mentoring session today, 12 person class T-W, then a six person class on Th-F. Busy week. Good.
