Taught my class, finished up around 2:30. After class me and B went for a ride to look for new mats for the bathroom. While I was teaching she spent the day cleaning and reorganizing. The house is spotless and I don't want to move too much and mess it up. I also stopped at a jewelry store yesterday. I have been looking for a wedding ring the entire time we have been married. I wear my grandfather's ring which while nice, is also the same ring I wore before. It would be nice to have one that is just for us. The problem is I can't find any I really like. What I talked to the jeweler about is refreshing and updating mine. It's a 60 year old ring and looks it. We discussed adding in six new stones, three small 5 point diamonds on each side of the existing stone. Give the ring a new look while maintaining the integrity of the original design. Depending on the size stones I choose, I am looking at 700-1000. That's honestly not bad considering a new ring would be 1500+. We found new bath rugs too.
Got back, ordered a pizza for dinner because we didn't want to mess up the kitchen. I also made us Costco members. B has been wanting to join for the last few months as there is one right down the street from us. I have avoided it because I hate the crowds of Costco. But if it makes her happy, then so be it. Watched some TV, then I played fallout while B read. Did laundry as well. Hung a shelf B wanted up in the bedroom. Went to bed around 11.
One more day and the kid will be here! I am so excited. I am also really proud of her. Traveling on her own, arranging the time off work, etc. She has become such a capable adult. I did good dammit. No thanks to her mother. One of those things I am truly proud about.
Today I am going to the bike shop to look at bicycles, get the last few things on our grocery list, and do some rearranging in the office. Not a busy day, but things to do.
