Had a fun day yesterday. Took the train back into the city for lunch. The kid wanted to go to Deschutes Brewery as it's her bf's favorite brewery. We went so we could check it out and so she could buy him a souvenir. We had a nice relaxing day. First stop was the bookstore. We found a book for B's stepmom that covers the condition she has been experiencing. The kid found books to read on the plane. Lunch was next. Lunch was good. We spent about 2 hours there and we tried quite a bit of the menu. After lunch we walked around then headed back on the train. When we got back, B took a nap, the kid watched some TV, and I went off to mail that book to MI. Later none of us wanted dinner as we were still full from lunch. We then got the kid packed. We did pretty good. We managed to get everything into two carry ons and one checked bag. Only thing that didn't fit was her new painting I got from Disneyland, but that's okay. I don't want that ruined so I am going to ship it next week. We watched some tv together, relaxed, and went off to bed around 11.
This is the last day. I have an eye doctor appointment this morning at 7:45 then we are going to relax and take the kid to the airport. I have really enjoyed having her here. The amount of time has been perfect. She is going to go home, do laundry, then go see her bf. We get the weekend to ourselves to relax and be alone.
All in all it's been a good week.
