Only one more week until the kid is here!! YAY! I haven't seen her since October so yeah, I am pretty excited. This is what it means to be an adult with adult children, isn't it? You only see them a few times a year. Strange. They have their own lives and doing their own thing. But you still miss them and think of them as they were when they were little. When they needed you to drive them everywhere and do everything. Sigh. The passage of time stops for no one.
Quiet day yesterday. We didn't do much of anything. In the morning we went to look at the ornament box I bought and realized it had a big crack in it so we headed out to replace it. We had Zoup for lunch then came back home. B took a long nap, I played Fallout.
We were going to have pork for dinner, but it was bad so we ended up having veggie burgers instead. Watched some TV, did laundry, listened to our damn neighbor play her music too loud, went to bed. For real not much of a day to be honest. Was very dull.
Dull is good. Right? I need something to do. I am starting to go stir crazy being home with nothing on my plate. I know I will complain about being too busy soon enough, but man, this dead time is driving me nuts.
Today is most likely going to be a repeat of yesterday. Whee.
