Moving slow this morning. I have been up for 20 minutes already and don't feel like I have done anything yet. I am so damn hot each morning when I wake up. I am sweating right now. I just opened the window in the office to get some air in here.
Taught all day yesterday. Finished up around 2:15. While teaching there was a bit of drama around the whole bonus check thing. In the end it looks like I have to wait until 2/12 for my check. Not a big deal, but an annoyance. Almost $1000 that will sit until Feb. I guess it's less money we will have to spend in Disneyland. It is what it is.
After class we went and checked out what apparently is the world's largest Costco. It didn't seem that much bigger to me. I think it's measured in actual square footage not anything else. The aisles seemed wider and there seemed to be less people in each other's way, but I didn't see any difference in merchandise or layout. We spent about an hour there. In the end I still had to go back to the regular store. This is why I was so against a membership. I look at things and say no, we don't need 5 lbs of shredded cheese. I need 16 oz. Some of the stuff is too large to be practical for us.
Got back, made chicken and asparagus for dinner, watched some TV, played some video games together (new Lego game came in the mail yesterday), and then I went to bed around 10. '
Tonight after class we head downtown. I am very excited about this. Can't wait to see this exhibit on Superheroes.
