Y8 D230

I have said it before and I will say it again - snow is great if you don't have to go anywhere. If you're my daughter that means you have been stuck at PDX for the last 13 hours. Yep. You read that right. She is still at the airport from 3pm yesterday.

Yeah.

She got up around 9 and we got her packed and all set. Her driver got here around 2 because the snow was going to start around 4. She got to the airport a little after three. Her flight was first delayed from 6 to 6:30. Then 7:30. They boarded and sat at the gate until 10:30 when they finally officially cancelled her flight. It's been rough. She right now has a 7am flight and is hoping it still goes. We can't really get to her right now because the roads are blocked. It snowed all night. No plows have gone through and there was no way B was going to the airport at midnight and trying to drive back at 4am. It wasn't worth it. So she spent the night in an airport. Lovely.

While all that was going on, we got our house and life back to normal. Cleaned up, ran some errands pre-snow, and settled in for the night. I went to bed around 10 as I had to be up now for a 6am class. Two days, 13 students, private class. I am going to try the new material today too. This should be interesting. Hopefully it will go over well.
