In a pissy mood for multiple reasons. Let's start with how useless UPS is. Yet another package is delayed due to "severe weather". Bitch please. I am less than an hour from that UPS center and I could make it there. USPS and FedEx are both out making deliveries why isn't your dumb ass? Don't give me this severe weather bullshit. Deliver my fucking packages before I have to go out of town!
Second, supposedly there will be some resolution on the whole 2017 negotiations this Thursday. But what pisses me off is that it has turned into negotiations for the whole team. I didn't ask you to get yourself and my co-worker a raise motherfucker. I feel it dilutes my case as I am the one who did all the groundwork, put together the spreadsheet showing COLA numbers, brought up the topic more than once, etc. And now you piggyback on my request? Fuck that. I don't want them focusing on the overall cost of changing a department salary/budget. I want them focused on the value I bring to the table. Insult to injury is sending a message about this followed by a kudos email which gets replied to by the very person who is dragging his fucking feet with the negotiations. YOU FUCKER. You SEE that customers are happy, here is direct proof of what I offer, and yet here it is 1/18 with no resolution. Fuck you.
Taught my class yesterday. It went okay. Finished around 2:40. This is the small class so not a whole lot of drama or issues. Today is part two. Thurs/Friday will be the rough class. After class I went out to get the mail - oh look, I can drive in this shit with no problem - and the lovely mailman had let the mail get wet. B got some important looking letter which was soaked through and I had to hair dry it. Turned out to be spam which was annoying.
Made chicken for dinner. Watched TV. Tried playing with a new (to me) linux distro but couldn't get it to work. Went to bed. Can I leave yet please?
