Back up normal times. Next four days are filled. First a two day with 3 students, then a two day with 13(!) students. Let the good times roll. I ended up being pretty busy yesterday and wrote an entire new 1/2 day class in about 5 hours. Plus I went through my Thurs/Fri class as I was informed at the last minute there were changes made to the curriculum. Lovely. Just what I don't need on a class that large. Oh well.
B was in a meh mood yesterday and while she had a doctor appointment that got shot down. Her doctor is sick and wasn't able to go in. Bad timing. The one time she really needs to talk to someone, no one is there. That didn't help her mood. I managed to make things better though. She had some Hot Topic cash and there's this HP purse she has wanted. BUT you can't use the cash online if the item is on sale. That means we had to go into a store. I had to call around to three stores but finally found it in stock. At one past downtown of course. I wasn't about to drive out there at 3:30 in the afternoon, so we hopped on the train and had an adventure. It wasn't all she needed, but it did help. We had a nice dinner out, took the train back, and got home around 8:30. A good adventure for a Monday night. Yes, she got the purse she wanted. The big deal is she had so many of the coupons that it ended up being about 60% off which was way better than the 10% off it was on the website. Worth the adventure.
That's about it. Time to get ready to teach.
